Any benefit if staying at the club's resident hotel?

I'm going to be in Vegas August 28th-September 1st and staying at Encore. Planning to go to Tryst on the Thursday (will be there with 4 or 5 females and 1 male (me)). Might go to XS on Friday as well. Can the concierge/hotel do anything for me with regards to entrance or guestlist etc (I know The Bank provides free entrance to Bellagio hotel guests) or am I better off just paying for the presale ticket?

Also, we're not really into the EDM scene and hiphop/rnb are more our music tastes. What clubs play hiphop/rnb that are worth going to on the strip? Thinking of The Bank at Bellagio and maybe Lavo at Venetian?

I konw Tryst and XS are EDM, but can't pass up going to a club that nice (our first time(s) clubbing in vegas) and especially if the hotel can help us out in someway.

Concierge can get discounted tickets to the clubs in the property(Encore/Wynn), but nothing free or anything like that. But if you can get at least the girls on the guestlist, they will be free. But theres no advantage of staying in Encore or Wynn to get on the guestlist.

if hiphop is preffered, then skip XS, Tryst, Marquee or Surrender. Double check the weekend you're there. Sometimes theres special guests at Tryst that maybe more hip hop oriented.

Tryst is more of a Hip Hop format, and Tao is often hip hop as well.

I like to stay where I party. If someone in the group needs to bail, you can walk them back to their room and get right back in.
Also, you can go early and then head up to your room for a few drinks.
If you need to use the bathroom, you can head to your room.
And of course, you can bring a girl home easier.

Tryst depends on the DJ. Jermaine Dupri DJ's there sometimes for example

Tao and Marquee are both EDM in their main rooms but have smaller hip-hop rooms. Both are fun but can get crowded and hot (especially Marquee's).

Lavo is open format on Sunday's usually and I heard a good amount of hip hop there this past Sunday. 1OAK also plays hip-hop


I would probably check out Marquee on Friday since you've never been. You can go back and forth from the main room to the hip hop room depending on your mood
