is voodoo really that bad???

we will be 6 guys , we already doing bottles on a friday night ,cabana at tao on sunday , the bank or lavo on sunday before boucing out of vegas
looking for somethin relax , not too pricey where we still could have a decent time on the sat night and leave not too late to get some rest for the morning
voodoo outside lounge , got quoted 500$ for 2 bottles
i am not excpectin a great crowd and great music, but some of the boys are new to vegas and i was thinking voodoo could be a decent place with a nice view ( never been myself)
is it totally a waste of time of money ???

Ive been to Voodoo Lounge a couple times. You'll have fun with a couple bottles and good friends. Dont expect a knockout crowd, but it will be full.

Last time we did Voodoo on a Saturday night a couple of years back, we bought the open bar package that went from 10-1. Place ended up closing at 12 because it was empty. I can't imagine it being any better now. Will say the view and layout were great though, just was a bummer that the crowd was non existant. Try contacting Thomas Gorman at Pure for a b1g1 deal on Saturday night. Maybe get a spot on the outside terrace. Even Chateau may be a better option.

I usually go every time Im in Vegas for the view. Each time the crowd has been lacking. Probably was there too early, but still expected more people. But a nice quiet place to hang for the most part.

From what I'm told. Its not the crowd that hangs out all night. Most people are there for an hour or so and bounce. They have a couple drinks, enjoy the view and leave. Unlike the full on club atmosphere where you can stay there til it closes at 5am, Voodoo isnt an all nighter.

LAX is a better Saturday night party for sure, but I will say this: the crowd that does go to Voodoo is generally a fun, 26 - 40 crowd. Those witchdoctors will get the crowd on tilt!! It is probably most active around midnight. I have never been on a Saturday, but I have been recently on a Tuesday. It was fun. Very few people on the inside, but the outside was pretty busy. I have to assume that a Saturday would be better.

If you are in a younger age range, this might not be the spot to do bottles and plan to be there all night. But you stated that you want a place more chill, great view, have a decent time, wont be there all night........... I dont think you can beat it for the money. It seems to fit your needs.

There was a good mix of current songs, top 40, hip hop and dance tracks. I think music wise, you will be happy. Its surely not an EDM house.
