Quick questions on tipping.

When doing cabanas, since you are automatically charged the 20% gratuity, do you still add a tip for the waitress / server ?



Also what is a good tip guide for the host that walks you in ?

If you add more for the waitress, that would be at your discretion. Generally though, I don't think people add more.
Re: the host....again, at your discretion. If you booked through the venue and they just walk you to a table and nothing more,
then $50 is probably fine. If you blew up their phone with questions for a month then I think 15-20% of your minimum is in order. If you're trying to get a better location and/or build a relationship then 25-30% of your minimum up to $500.
