Town car or taxi from airport to lee's discount liquor then to cosmo?

Any suggestions or better liquor store to hit up on route to cosmo?

walgreens is right across the bridge from cosmo. you can walk it from your room in a couple minutes. They have quite a decent selection and all the standard brands plus more.

i think a town car to lees is a bit of overkill. we just get whatever we want from the store in whatever hotel we are staying at. cosmo has a store in the lobby or you can do what Noah said. cab to cosmo is fine then the main focus is the clubs and bars.

I agree with going to Lee's is overkill. Unless you're wanting to stock up on a dozen or more bottles, thats the only time it MAYBE worth it.
But for a couple bottles or so, just walk over that bridge to Walgreens, its quicker and easier.

Technically, there is no Lee's on the way from the Airport to Cosmo. The closest one would be the one near Encore but thats 2-3miles round trip out of the way. The other ones will either backtrack you away from the airport or go east or west out of the strip at least 5-7miles out of the way from Cosmo.

It all just depends on what you're getting. Its slightly inflated, but not worth taking a taxi and paying $30 roundtrip to go way out of your way.

If you really gonna stock up ALOT, its better to go to some grocery stores that may even sell it cheaper than Lee's. Some of the grocery stores and even (pharmacy type stores like Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid) have sales weekly on most Alcohol and Wine. Places that wont have sales are independent liquor stores or ABC Stores(that are on the strip).

Yeah, luckily Walgreens prices are pretty solid and comparable to most of their branches. Liquor stores actually cost more most of the time from my experience. But the bridge straight from Cosmo to a 24Hr Walgreens is awesome. It's also the bridge that has the best view of the strip since its directly in the center.

I was there a couple of weeks ago and stayed a night at Planet Hollywood. I purchased a 750mL bottle of Bacardi select for $19. The Goose and Belvie was running about $40 for 750mL bottles if I remember correctly. They have a limited selection of food and don't forget to buy waters!!!!

You also have the ABC store inside Planet Hollywood across from Earls Sandwich that's in walking distance too. They have quite a selection of liquor there too

We asked the limo driver to hit up a liquor store on the way and the rest is history.

Most of them have been shady at best but at no point did we get ripped off.

I think a 24 of Heineken, a quart (fifth?) of Jagermeister, a dozen Red Bull, a case of water and a pack of smokes came to 80 bucks or so each time.
                      Things escalated quickly...

Funny note about the walgreens thing... We were there on fourth of July, and apparently there was some law that after like 5pm, you can't buy glass bottles of liquor on the 4th, so they were wrapping all the shelves with tarps and preventing you from buying it. You can buy liquor 24/7 364 days and 12 hours a year, but from 5pm July 4th til like 5am on the 5th you better plan to already have your bottles. Of course if you noticed I said GLASS bottles, so we walked over to the other shelf and bought a fifth of rum in a plastic bottle instead...

We have always done the Walgreens outside Venetian and it works fine, but they have that checkout system SOOOO fucked up there. It's like a circus in there. Get that shit organized please!

Walgreens is always on the to-do list when we visit LV. Convenient, affordable, and great for impulse buying (I didn't realize I needed cherry lip balm before I spotted it at check-out!.
