Seeking July 23-27 club advice

My fellow JCers, I'm hoping you kind folks can me out with some advice.

I'm in town for business on July 23-27, staying at the Cosmo, and bringing my hot ass girl with me. Looking for some guidance on what clubs, what nights. My main "issue" as it where, is that I can't stand Top 40, Hip Hop, or Trance. I'm an old school HOUSE head (you may have heard a song or two of mine back in the day ) so I would prefer the closest thing to that genre as possible. Mostly looking to tear up the dance floor and not table service, but don't mind tipping some folks to get the hook-up if necessary.

Sounds to me like your best bet will be to check out the DJ lineups and go where the music takes you.

Venue-wise your best bets will be XS, Surrender, Marquee, and Hyde. Old school HOUSE dj's don't seem to be quite as prevalent but you may get lucky.

Looks like XS has Diplo and Marquee has Madeon that Monday night, not sure what Hyde will have on tap Tuesday night, Surrender is probably your best bet for Wednesday night but they haven't posted a DJ yet. Thursday will probably be TAO, and Friday Haze will be your best bet for House. Happy hunting!

I understand I won't find exactly what I'm looking for, but "in the ballpark" guidance is what I was looking for. I appreciate the help.

Should I expect to make any special arrangements for any of those venues for any of the nights?

Probably just buy presales or setup a handshake with a host since you're not looking for bottles.

Well your room key gets you in Marquee Friday/Sunday/Monday quick and free. So it's worth stopping in.
