  • Bachelorette Party- Help!

Planning a bachelorette party next month. We have a general idea of what we want to do, but nothing set in stone. Staying at Cosmo and there are 9 of us going.

    Here is our itinerary:

Thursday- arrive in the morning, go see a show that night and then maybe to a club (thinking Tryst) as a pre-bachelorette party celebration

Friday- pool, stripper 101, chippendales, dinner (no idea where though) and then club hop... (Tao, XS, Pure)

    Saturday- pool, casinos and Marquee

Sunday- hang out, relax and then we leave

Now I have an idiot question....

What does being on a guest-list mean? Do I tip them? Do I pay a cover?

Guest list will get you in for free. No need to tip for this.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Consider whatever Chuck says as the word of the Nightlife Gods. He's 100% right as usual. I will note that Guestlist is only good till a certain time (generally 11PM or 12PM at Tier 1 venues).

Personally I think club hopping wastes too much time getting to places and getting in. You can easily spend 1hr+ just getting out of a club, transportation and back in the next club. When its good at the club, stay there and enjoy it the whole night. Some taxi lines can take 20-30min just waiting for one.

I dont know about you girls, but everytime I'm in Vegas, things always dont go as planned. So expect to adjust schedules last minute, cancel an activity or switch around days when youre making your plans.

Since you're staying at Cosmo, hit up Noah above for any info on Marquee Nightclub or Dayclub. Usually you want to get on guestlists or reserve any cabanas/tables at the clubs a week or 2 in advance.

        Have fun!
BTW Noah! thanks again for this past weekend. Zedd was siiiick. Ask them to bring him back again at night, not MDC. LOL.

My suggestions for a bachelorette party...

*Don't expect to club hop. As pp said, it wastes way too much time. Also, since guest lists close early, you won't be able to use a guest list to get into a club you're hopping to after 11:30 or so. That's also when lines will be longest. You will waste 2 hours of your night just getting to another club, waiting to get in, etc.

*If you are all pretty good looking, I suggest walking the strip your first day there. Every time I've been with a large group of attractive girls, we always get stopped and offered free entry into clubs, etc. On my bachelorette party we got a free daybed at Rehab on Sunday with 2 free bottles of vodka (back when it was the place to be). This was simply from a host/promoter who stopped us on the strip. We also were hooked up with a bachelor party at Pure Saturday night who had a big table with bottles and purposefully asked their host to bring in a group of girls.... again, we got walked-in, a free place to sit, and free liquor. We also got a free dinner one night if we went to a specific club afterward. I'm not saying this will definitely happen, but it's worth a shot since your schedule looks open on your first day there.

*Definitely hit up a day club (as opposed to just a pool) on either Friday or Saturday. The day clubs are always my favorite part of being in Vegas with a group of girls.

*Get on guest lists for the Tier 1 clubs and get there early, get in and party all night.

          Have fun!!

It seems by your post that you aren't aware of the "Pool Parties" which are far different than the "regular pools". I personally love the pool parties more than the nightclubs... consider adding these parties and you won't be sad! Marquee, TAO, WET, Rehab EBC...
