11 guys - Sat July 7th - $2000 min - Need Club advice

Hey guys and girls,

Where do you think the best bang for our buck will be for 11 guys, sat night $2000 min + tax and tip. I plan on tipping the host $300-$400.

I'm thinking that my preference is to try and get a nice table location over a crappy table location at a 'nicer' club, but I could be wrong

My first choice is XS (Avicci) and Marquee (Gareth Emery) but I'm pretty sure they will both be over my budget of $2000 + tax and tips. Please let me know if you think I can get in either of those with my budget.

So I'm left with the other clubs. My group likes everything from trance to electro to top 40 and hip hop. The deciding factor is FUN, we want to feel like V.I.P.'s in a packed club with hot women. So please chime in, PM me, give me some advice.

Surrender - Lil Jon - probably out because we will be at EBC to see Tiesto that same day (sat)

Palms (Rain, Moon) - No details on Dj yet
Vanity - UFC afterparty with Anderson Silva - Dj TBD
Chateau - No details on DJ yet

I don't think you're going to be able to get much of a table at XS with $2K and Avicci spinning.
Guessing $2K would get you patio at Marquee that night with 11 guys.
Hyde would be my choice in your case....just not sure if $2000 will get it done with 11 dudes though.

Personally, I'd stay away from the UFC afterparties. XS and Marquee will be crawling with ladies and
probably have the best music that night...so you'll have to pay to play there. Get a quote though, it's worth a shot.
I would suggest getting a quote for 7 guys and have the other four get presales and meet you inside.
Make sure you make it known up-front what you plan to tip, it can only help you in this case.

If you can't swing those I'd try these in this order: Hyde, Tao, Surrender, Palms

Can't really do that for $2k with 11 guys, but something to look into could be a Cabana at either Surrender, XS or Marquee (yes, cabana at night). Depending on the talent spinning, figure anywhere from $3k to $5k (slightly higher at XS).

Yeah...the first problem is you got 11 dudes...kill that idea...and just say you got 7 or 8 dudes for the same price and have the other fellas do pre-sale tix and just join you at the table later....get a few girls too geez....then contact a host to get real prices otherwise you're gonna be just guessing. Your 1st 2 choices are fine...your price will limit size and location, but no reason not to try.

8 guys for $1500 should get you a patio location at Marquee. Have the other 3 presale and meet you inside. Now you still have extra money to spend if necessary.

Saturday night every place will have a big crowd especially that weekend with the fight. There will be ugly girls and pretty girls everywhere. You want to feel like "VIPs" avoid the Tier 1 clubs unless you are dropping main room money.

In my experience, the size of your group getting bottle service usually equates to the size of your booth and or couches. So if I book 8 guys for bottle service, and 3 show up with pre-sales later, will we have enough room (I realize we will not all be at the table at the same time, but for the times when we are, will there be enough seats?)
Also, is it 'legal' or acceptable to do this? If security (who I will tip) or maybe a manager come up and say "Why are there 11 guys at your table when you only booked 8?" Is this a potential problem?

I am very outgoing and would have no problem meeting some women in Vegas and getting them to come with us. But is the minimum that much cheaper with girls? So a quote for 11 guys would be more than 11 guys and 5 girls? Or 8 guys is more than 8 guys and 4 girls?

I was at Vanity in May, Pauly D was spinning (not my style, but he did bring alot of women). We had 12 guys in a prime table location right next to the DJ booth. It was a great time being 'in the action'. This coast around $2000 = $2500 min if I recall. So while XS and Marquee are both 'nicer' , bigger and probably have more hot woman, is it worth sacrificing table location for the overall experience?

Any advice or thoughts welcome.

question 1: its no problem for guys or girls that weren't officially part of your table to hang there at XS or Marquee. I suppose some clubs on your list have VIP behind ropes or require bracelets but i can't say for sure. Of course if you have a table for 8 and have a few extra guys and girls there it will be crowded... you get a cabana at either place i'd say you'll be fine in terms of room.

question 2: better if a host answers with better firsthand info on that.

question 3: well if you have a horrible table location far from the action it still will be pricey and you might not get the enjoyment out of it if you had a more expense and closer in table.

1. breaking the group up is just stupid. why have people pay cover when its covered with the bottle service.

2. you can have all the swag in the world, no girl is going to want to sit in an upper cabana at XS while the party is going on inside.

xS on any weekend night is 2k easy, none the less for avicii..when i went in april for avicii, i got quoted 1500 minimum outside table for 4 guys..so i can only imagine it being 4-5k for 11 dudes in the summer time.

i think regardless of where you go, it will be a good time and girls will be everywhere but if you're doing tables for sure, i rather go to a lower tier club and get a table with prime location for less.

XS you can get inside table for 4k min, I already got my reservation for that day, also with 2k and a good host tip i would recommend HYDE, Anthony over here can help you out!, good luck
