XS July 23rd

The wife and I are going to XS on July 23 to see Diplo.

I don't want bottle service but I am not above using a VIP service to skip the line.

Any ideas? I noticed a conversation about pre-sale tickets on another thread about another club. Is that an option at XS when they have a name DJ?

There are pre-sale tickets currently available over at wanttickets.com. All name DJ's have pre-sale tickets.

My question is not whether pre-sale tickets are available, but if getting pre-sale tickets eliminates the whole "give me a big tip and wait in line for two hours" thing. I want to get in right away, not wait in line.

You will still wait in line for a small amount of time with presales. Probably 15-20 minutes if you get there early. Only way to totally bypass a line is to use a host and tip well.

Thanks for your reply. If I show up with my beautiful wife and I am stylishly dressed at 11:30 AND I have pre-sale tickets, will I have to wait on a Monday if DIPLO is DJing?

My issue is whether to get a walk in from a VIP service. I don't want to pay for it if I don't have to, but I am not going to Vegas to wait in line.

a pre-sale ticket only puts you ahead of general admission. people who buy lower minimum tables will have to wait in line sometimes. by no means is a pre-sale a free cut in line pass, the only way if you want to bypass the line is by tipping a host and having them walk you in.

Depends on your definition of a line. If more than ten minutes is too much, get pre-sales, show up early, and call it a day. Still, you will be waiting in a line of some sort. Most table reservations even have to wait a few minutes.

I spent $1400 on bottles at Tao on Thursday and waited for 5-10 minutes....so yeah, if you want ZERO wait you better contact a host and tip generously....I tipped $400 on those bottles also. Anything less than a 5-10 minute wait happens, but I wouldn't rampage if I had to wait a few minutes.
