table/cabana minimums include taxes/tips?

When I email hosts about reserving a table a club or cabana at a pool party, sometimes they will say the minimum amount PLUS taxes and tips... other times, they just reply with a number. Do minimums never include taxes and tips?

If I am not mistaken, it is usually 20% gratuity to the waitress, 8.1% tax, 10% for live entertainment tax or something?.... that should be it on the bill... off the bill, you can add your own tip to pass to the hosts

Am I missing anything? Are the numbers correct above?

Marquee is the only place Im aware of that adds the LET. So if you add 30% to the price the host quotes that will cover server tip and tax. Most places auto add the server tip at 20%. I think Tryst, Surrender, and XS do not auto add the server tip. Plan on bringing cash for your host tip, security, and runner. When Im budgeting i add 30% to the minimum, 20% for the host, and $100 for other tips. Even if you dont end up tipping that much its a good way to budget IMO.
