Trip August 8th - 12th

Hey everyone! I'm new to these boards (well I've been a lurker). Just thinking about Vegas is fun and I've been extremely obsessed.

We're a group of 6 girls going for a bachelorette and 21st birthday party. We're 21-28 years old but all love to dance and have fun. One question is will we have problems getting into clubs? And which clubs will be a problem to get into?

We'll be arriving in Vegas on Wednesday at 8am and will leave on Sunday at 6pm, so we have 5 days there and want to make good use of our time. Oh yeah and we're staying at the Flamingo and have a couple of rooms reserved.

We're not sure what we should do each night/day? Anyone else coming when we're there? What should we know?

I'm sure a group of pretty young bachelorettes won't have a problem getting into the clubs. I would contact the hosts for whatever clubs you decided to go to each night and get on the guest lists. I don't know how far in advance you can do the guest list but I would guess about a week before is standard. 6 girls could prob just contact someone the day of also.

I will be there Aug 10-17 with my bf and another couple. We are waiting until they announce the djs to decide which clubs to go to. I have also been obsessing about our upcomming trip, its hard to stop researching all the different venues and restaurants. I wanna do it all!

Maybe we will see ya in Vegas!

All girl groups are easy to get in everywhere. Contact someone at whichever clubs you want to visit and have them add you to the guestlist for free entry by a certain time. Let them know at least a day in advance.

STL, go Cards! We should try to meet up in Vegas for sure. Though we are a bit older (late 20s 30s), we love to party! Actually going down to the lake this weekend for a small little music feast, wet hot electric summer. Gotta take little mini trips to prepare for Vegas

Thanks so much. We're really open to any kind of mix of music. What nights are best for the different clubs from Wed to Saturday night? And what day clubs are best?

Also, do girls usually have to pay to get into these clubs if they're on the guest list? Last time we went to Vegas, we luckily found guys who had bottle service everywhere and they just invited us with them all the days.

That was my next question. Is it easy to hop around to other clubs? Where we live, we never stay at a bar/club for over an hour, but the bars and clubs are no where near as nice or big as the ones in Vegas, so we're not sure what to do.

I'll be in Vegas Aug 7-11 for my 21st as well with a group of girls (haven't quite figured out the number yet, there are a bunch of maybes)! I've read varying things about club hoping. I think it would just be a hassle to rangle everyone, get them in a cab, get to the club and then get in.

I dont know much about how bachelorette parties get deals at certain clubs. Maybe one of the girls had connections. I know a group of girls that just went to Vegas 3 weeks ago and Got a balcony table at Rain(fri) all night with 1 bottle, bunch of waters for basically a $100 tip. They also got a 2nd floor cabana at Surrender(sat) with 1 bottle, waters and mixers for also $150 tip.
YA so I'm not sure if they knew a host that comp them all this or whatever.

But if you girls are willing to check, contact some of the hosts and see what deals they can come up with even if you have to pay a little bit. If you dont have the budget for that, then just do the guestlist way.

Is it easy to hop around to other clubs? Where we live, we never stay at a bar/club for over an hour, but the bars and clubs are no where near as nice or big as the ones in Vegas, so we're not sure what to do.

You can easily stay at a club and enjoy a full 6hrs of it at one place. Personally the only time I would hop out of a club if it was totally dead. In the winter, I've jumped from Gallery to Chateau and eventually ending up at Marquee at the same night. But thats because you basically walk in and walk thru within seconds. There's nothing going on.

But in the summer clubs like Marquee, XS, Surrender get full capacity and theres tons of people there. So basically jumping from club to club is pointless. There's really nothing you wont see different if you left one club thats already jumpin and hopped on to another. Basically, summer weekends are all good at most clubs. You wont have to club hop at all. Thats my opinion.

I know of girls that hop from Marquee to XS in the middle of the night and get walk in no problem every single night with no standing in line even if its super packed. Connections I guess. LOL. But for the average people like most of us, you would have to stand in line or wait a bit if going to one of the big clubs. So that takes time away from the partying.

And we're going to Thunder from Down Under on Friday night, but that should be over at 11pm.
