Chateau VS 1 OAK for BS

we will be a group of guys , mostly into hip/hop so from a budget standpoint we narrowed it down to those 2 on a friday night( open to suggestions not over 1K for 6 guys)
-1OAK : got offered a B2G1
-Chateau : 2 goose for 600$

my only club experience in vegas was Moon a year ago , it was good so i am looking for at least this much fun

any advice is welcome

Well I have not been to 1oak or chateau but from my friends they enjoyed both. I believe 1Oak should have the hip/hop. Chateau I think will have it mixed with some other stuff. I am sure someone on the boards has been there on a friday and knows the type of music that was played.

I would go with Chateau. It's a bigger club with an outdoor area, I haven't been to 1oak but many members have expressed that it's just a revamped version of Jet (which I was never a fan of).

1OAK plays open format all night. Friday is also their busiest night = more girls. I'd stick to the main room though, I am not a fan of the hip hop room, it is too small and gets too crowded.
Chateau I have to been to once, it was pretty late and it was pretty dead. Also the crowd was umm...not appealing. The outside area is really nice though.

+1 There are very few current reports on Chateau...most are like "I was there 3 years ago and it was alright".
Would be helpful to get some more up to date reports...

1 Oak is definitely No comparison. I haven't had one person tell me it was like Jet.

I am glad to hear you say that Joey.
I have heard mixed reviews of 1Oak and have not been there myself.......so I am making a point to come see you and find out for myself in September.
BTW I love 1Oak here in NY.
