Our first Vegas trip - August 8 - 12

My wife and I are booked for our first Vegas trip August 8 - 12. We're two late 20s east-coast Canadians who are doing a three day hop to Chicago followed by our four days in Vegas.

We've partied it up in pretty much every major city in the midwest and eastern seaboard of North America but are especially looking forward to our first time in Vegas.

I've been lurking these forums for a while and started to devise a bit of a gameplan (but would love some recommendations/suggestions). Though I would love bottle service for two of us each night at a major club, I'm not sure that's feasible or the best allocation of our funds.

Below is my initial itinerary. Again, any help anyone can provide would be great. Also, any budget ideas for two people for each event/day would be great - my wife can drink more than the average lady (despite her small size) and likes relatively pricey drinks (i.e. specialty martinis), aside from her usual vodka and cranberrys, if that helps. I can drink whatever. We'd also be interested in meeting up with other couples or JC groups that are there during our trip - one of our favorite things to do in new cities is party with new and interesting people.

Wednesday day - arrive and check in at Palazzo
Wednesday evening - semi low-key, thinking maybe a show and Ghostbar/Moon/Rain or Tao or Surrender
Thursday day - Carnival Court and taking in the strip/shopping
Thursday evening - Tao
Friday day - Wet Republic or Tao Beach (are loungers for two people available at either? If so, what's the minimum)
Friday evening - XS or Marquee (this will be our biggest night out)
Saturday day - EBC or Wet (same question as for Thursday day)
Sunday - undecided. We fly out of Vegas just before midnight.

I'll be there that weekend as well, just a two nighter, My birthday is the 11th, so that will likely be the big night. I posted up in the get connected forum. But were looking for people to party with. I'll let you know when we get something nailed down.

That lineup looks pretty solid. My suggestions:

Wednesday evening - Surrender
Thursday - Liquid instead of Carnival Court
Friday - Tao Beach - Contact Chris Traer a host there, who posts reguarly can help you. They have lounge chairs and pricing is very reasonable.
Saturday - Wet or EBC
Sunday - EBC or Marquee Day Club

Marquee Day Club does have loungers. Contact Noah Ortiz for pricing. EBC & Wet do not have loungers.

My wife and I will be there around the same time. Our itinerary so far:
Wednesday-Arrive at noon and check into Venetian. Strip Limo ride then on to Surrender or Lavo at night
Thursday evening -Tao or Tryst
Friday-afternoon flight back to the kiddies and reality

I will be in Vegas aug 10-17 with my bf and another couple. We haven't locked down any plans yet (I wanna wait to see which djs are playing where) but we always enjoy meeting new fun people! We will prob do bottle service sat night at a tier 1 club and a pool party sun, not sure about the other days yet.

If you have people joining you then this may not matter anymore. But to answer your question, we do now offer a handful of lounge chairs for Dayclub. I believe it's $400 per pair and they're only sold in sets of 2, but I'll have to double check that.

I think we'd definitely be up for bottle service at a Tier 1 on Saturday with a couple other couples in our age range. I did notice on wanttickets.com that Calvin Harris is listed as playing at XS that night (the 11th) - it's not up on XS' website yet, though.

Thanks. Yeah, I've read what XS costs on a Saturday, but we've got a pretty decent budget for the two off us (my bonus gets paid out at the end of July) and really want to make that Saturday finish off our trip with a bang. However, I think we'd be up for anywhere with a great dj and crowd.

My wife and I will be out there 9-12 August. We are in our 30's but love to have a good time maybe we will see you out there. It will be our first Vegas trip also.
