Wed Night!

The week of our Vegas Trip has finally arrived We arrive in Vegas on Wednesday night at 10pm - the plan is to get ready quickly (as quickly as 8 women can lol) and then head out to a club.

We want something busy but not too crazy as it is our first night in Vegas and we will need to save some energy for the weekend ; )

I've been reading that Surrender and Lavo are the places to be on Wed - is there a difference between crowds and how late we can go to make sure we can get in? Should I contact a host for Wed?

Also are there any other parties going on with the Hockey Awards going on? We're 8 Canadian Girls who love our hockey teams so wouldn't mind running into a hockey player or two lol

Sounds like you'll just miss the pre-awards party at Lavo tomorrow night.
I'd suggest getting on a guest list if you may be running late. Shouldn't be a problem with 8 ladies though.

Surrender has Deniz Koyu on Wednesday night.
Lavo doesn't have anything listed. They'll both be great spots but sounds like Lavo might be up your alley for that night.

Not sure of someone with a guestlist for this wednesday...does anyone know if Traer works Lavo on Wednesdays?

If you want, you can join us (6 guys from Vancouver) at Surrender Wednesday night; we got a table. We are also going for the NHL Awards, but bad planning on our part since we thought most of the parties would happen after the awards, not before =( it's all good though because I'm sure some of the players will be partying Wednesday night too.

So would you reccomend a Guest List for Surrender and Lavo if we plan on going there on Wed? What's the main difference in atmosphere between the two?

Also...what the heck is an "HDM" bar?? I keep reading this in all the forum notes and am embarrassed I have no clue...

Ah fellow Candians! How long are you staying in Vegas for and which resort are you guys at? We're at Mandalay staying from Wed to Sunday. So excited!!!

I think we're leaning towards Surrender for Wed....

I'd recommend mooching...err...mingling with chrisv39 at Surrender on Wednesday if they have a table.
Personally I'd choose Surrender because they will play more EDM, however, if you prefer a mix of Top40/Hip-Hop Lavo would be better.

As far as the "HDM" bars...I think you mean "EDM" which stands for Electronic Dance Music. This is like House, trance, etc.
Think David Guetta, Afrojack, Aviici, Deadmau5...

We are staying at Elara and we arrive Wednesday @ 12 and leave Monday @ 6am.
