  • Party Plans - June 28 to July 2

We have a group of 24 friends (11 girls, 13 guys) going to Vegas from Thursday, June 28 to Monday, July 2. What do you guys think about the following party schedule? We are all staying at Cosmo.

    Thurs Night - Tao
    Friday Day - Tao Beach
Friday Night - Club Crawl (several bars at PH then Chateau and then back to PH for Gallery)
Saturday Day - Venus at Caesars
    Saturday Night - Marquee
Sunday Day - Rehab at Hard Rock
Sunday Night - Freemont St (any recommendations for places downtown?)

I would hit up Marquee Day Club if I was you. At least one day. Plus it would be nice to have one day where youre not packing up and going somewhere else for hanging by a pool. Just my thought anyway.
Las Vegas is sort of like how God would do it if he had money. ~Steve Wynn

Are these entries a joke? I'm guessing you're trying to avoid a good time and do some type of nostalgic historical tour of "old Vegas"...if thats the case, then I understand. It just doesn't make sense...you're staying at the right spot for a good time, but then your day/night choices seem to say "we don't wanna have too much fun"... you're doing a club crawl with 24 peeps...good luck with that ...you don't have XS on your list, Marquee Dayclub (which is free since you got a room key!) you do realize that going from the sausage fest at Rehab on Sunday then hittin Fremont is like getting off a private Jet with Drake, Lil Wayne DJ'ing to walking into a Dentist's office waiting room complete with the elevator music.

All of this is mute if your krew is simply married couples using Frommers Travel Guide to Vegas and know how to have a great time no matter where they are...in that case, tune out my sarcasm

What's wrong with the club crawl? It is an organized club crawl with 150-200 people. It isn't only our group doing it ourselves.

We have been to XS three times in the past few years. It's a great club, but in my opinion, Tao and Marquee are just as good and we have those for Thursday and Saturday nights.

From what the hotel told me, Marquee Dayclub isn't free for hotel guests... the regular pools are. Just like at MGM where the normal pools are free for hotel patrons, but Wet Republic costs money. I've had a lot of friends say Rehab is still amazing at Hard Rock on Sundays. I don't know much about Venus but that is supposed to be more of our relaxing day compared to Tao Beach and Rehab.

As for Freemont St, we've never been there before so we wanna check it out on our last night.

Well you did ask for suggestions...

It seems like you are pretty happy with your plan so just stick with it and have a kickass trip with your friends!

I think my friends and I are gonna do downtown that sunday night too for some gambling. There are enough bars on fremont to have a good time. I believe the bank/xs/lavo are all open later that night if it gets too stale. Venus on a saturday might not be as poppin as the others, i'd switch it out for EBDC or Marquee but if you're looking for something more relaxing then that would probably be suffice.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. Yeah, we realize Venus is going to be more chill than others like EBC but we are also spending a lot less by going to Venus. We have a lot of money that we will be spending on the other days/nights for Tao, Tao Beach, Marquee, and Rehab

I think we will check out Marquee Day Club on Monday before we leave or even Thursday when we arrive.

I've asked that same question lately...I get interesting comments like its turned into Jersey Shore west...since I don't watch it, that kinda flew by me....I know who the characters are, but are they saying that Rehab is full of those types? hmmm.

I am from NJ and every time I go to Vegas with virgins from Jersey they're all like "let's go to Rahab bro!"
                        There you go.

Fremont street is a lot of fun, period. Here on the JC forums we get too wrapped up in making sure we are at the hottest clubs being seen.
If you want a really fun night with no pretension (and some fanny packs) Fremont st. will be awesome, but only for one night.
