I usually know where to go when I head out to Vegas, but this time will be different. Rather than having my usual 3:1 girl to guy ratio, it's more like 1:1, which sucks, at least I think so. And with that, I don't know where to go. I also kinda doubt that the other guy and girl in my group on this trip are going to be dressed to Vegas standards. I'll be there Friday-Sunday on the weekend of July 13th. I know I could just ditch them and hit up some place, but that'd be messed up - at least for the first part of the night lol. I'm trying to work on the whole dress thing with them, but just in case, where should I go for my days and nights?

Like how would they be dressed? T-shirt and jeans? IF so, worse case is a casino bar/lounge. Heart Bar at PH or any of the bars on Cosmo. No need to dress up all fancy when there's no cover if all you want to do is hang out.

Vegas standards aren't that crazy...what are these people wearing? Fanny-packs and Birkenstocks?
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

I want to do more than just hang out, since the last time I went with some other friends, they were not about the club scene cause they were not into the edm playing. So since it's my bday, I'm insisting we go out. Hanging out is fine, and maybe when we get it, it's what we'll do for a bit.

No, they're not really sharp dressers. I don't expect them to be all crazy, just if what they wear out here is what they wear out there - mostly concerning the guy cause as girls, it's easier lol - it's just not as nice looking as they could be dressed. Like his dress shirt is not as nice as it should/could be. I actually think it's boring and horrible looking. And the alternative he has to that is not great either. And his pants are another matter all together lol.

What are the brands? If money is an issue you can find some relatively cheap nice looking stuff at H&M or 6pm.com

I don't think it's a matter of brands cause you can find cheap awesome things. I think with him, it's a matter of taste sadly.

lol Does this guy even want to go? I am going with a group of 8 next month, and there are several people who don't want to go clubbing. It would be very counterproductive to try and force it on them.

Hard to make judgments about the dude's dress when we don't really know what it is that he is wearing. If he is to club standards, and really wants to wear it, just let him. If he looks horrible, then it is his deal.

If he is wearing something that is not to club standards or is borderline, then inform him. If he gets turned down at the door, then it is his problem. If he really, truly cares about hanging with you in the club and getting in, then he will dress the part to not cause problems for the group.

honestly as long as you stick to these 3 things you can get in anywhere

                  1) collared shirt that's a reasonable fit (not too baggy) - could be the ugliest shirt in the world
                  2) slacks or jeans that fit and aren't ripped
                  3) dress shoes

                  See this thread - http://forums.jackcolton.com/showthr...baggy-of-jeans

Vegas dress code may be stricter than a lot of clubs in people's hometowns but it's formulaic. You just have to stick to the standard, you don't have to be fashionable or be "cool"

There ya go...one of my friends who came on our last trip is by no means a snappy dresser. He did have a white button up, nice pair of Levis, and leather sketchers. Didnt get a second look from anyone working the rope at Tao.

Well, I know he wants to go clubbing cause he's never really been clubbing and never really been out and about on the Strip or Vegas in general. I think he's only been like once or so and that was here in Scottsdale, with me and my friends. He was okay here but his one pair of "nice" jeans are not really nice, they're just the least ripped and frayed and his shoes he uses are like black skate shoes. I'm working on the dress thing. Thanks guys
Now where can I take them that they'd love? I know where my go-to's are, but I'm also up for trying different places. And I also want to go to some day life things. I finally found people up for a day life partying. I've never done day in Vegas since no one wants to go to the pool cause they think they're a hot mess, but we know that there are worse people looking there lol.
