Need a club that spins Hip-Hop/Top 40 for next weekend...Jun 22 & 23

I know that EDM has taken over Vegas; I don't mind it,
but my crew wants hip-hop and top 40 stuff. They only
get out to Vegas ONCE a year so I'm trying to cater to them.

So, which clubs are spinning hip-hop/top 40? I know the tier 1 spots
are probably all EDM...tier 2 spots? Do I have to go to tier 3!?! HELP!!

Lol HunterD! Just tell 'em that only women care who the DJ is and what he's playing...doesn't it all sound the same if the ratio sucks or if there are no women or if its empty?

EDM = lots of variety
EDM = lots of girls
HipHop = maybe girls, but definitely a whole lot of wannabe Kanye/Neo/Akon/Drake lookalikes lol and none of 'em are women!

I have the same issue with me and my crew...we're more comfortable with what we know and we know HipHop/Top40...but the crowds, the tourists, the bachelorette parties, the girls that leave the ugly blocker girl in the room are going to the clubs they've heard of most and those will be Tier 1 ...not to say that we can hit a Tier 2/Tier 3 club with familiar music, and we can all fight over the 4 girls that happened to appear

They're all married! I'm the only single one. But we are thinking of LAVO or Bank...we'll see.

I can always go back later in the summer and listen to the EDM at the tier 1's til my ears burn.

Tao with with Vice does mix of house/hiphop

Go to Skam Artist site and see which DJs are spinnin at Vegas for that weekend. Most of those guys play hip hop.

I just listened to Lil Jon on the Surrender podcast. Dude is terrible. All he does is yell on the mic and play LMFAO songs. smh

Yup. Having the same problem. Thankfully Marquee has that hip-hop room. Only one that hits the criteria of, like what you said, club where all the girls go to, and hip-hop for people who hate EDM. Although not sure why they didn't make that room bigger. Lol The fact that that room is ALWAYS packed shows how popular hip-hop/top 40 still is.

I agree with your post in that the girls all flock to the Tier 1 clubs. However, I don't think they frequent those clubs because of the EDM....they target those clubs because they are the most popular and opulent clubs in Vegas right now and they place to "be seen." I honestly think less than 10% of female club-goers would even know the difference if Marquee or XS played all hip-hop and Top 40 one night. Girls go to those clubs because that it is where the celebrities in People magazine are going. Just my opinion.

And this is why I'm in line early at those Tier 1 spots in spite of what DJ or what music is playing... I completely agree!

I would look at Marquee and Tao. Both have the option of the hip hop rooms and you can always find chicks in the main room and bring them to the hip hop room.

This reminds me of something that happened a few years ago.

I was in Vegas with 5 of my boys. 2 Asians, 1 Indian, and 2 black guys. (I'm black BTW) We went to XS as it was the clear cut #1 (this was before Marquee) and relatively new. We got in pretty early (~1015/1030) and hit up the tables outside. By midnight the 2 other black guys got sick of all the EDM and wanted to leave. I tried to convince them that XS would be the best time and have the best females and that they just needed to find some females and ignore the music but they wouldn't listen.

They left and went to Tao but they couldn't get in. Bouncer said something along the lines of "Sorry gentlemen, we cannot accommodate you tonight". Then they went to Jet. They saw a bunch of dudes in line and not many cute girls and the line was long.
They come back to XS around 1AM with defeated looks on their face. Within 5 minutes both of them find some cute girls in XS.

Lesson is follow the hot girls

PS - The ugly blocker can and will make appearances anywhere and everywhere but if the EDM is loud enough her blocking will not be heard

Dang, you're covered for almost any scenario in Vegas I see....all you need is a few Europeans with strong accents and you're unstoppable.
