Question about tip for table at a lounge

Hello all,

My first trip to Vegas is coming up in two days, and i would like to take the best man in my wedding to a thank you dinner for all that he has helped with. I wanted to book a table at Hyde lounge on Thursday night. Would it be possible that a good handshake to my host get me a better table location? If so, what amount would be acceptable? Thanks.

Since Hyde is a Lounge on Thursdays you only need a reservation, there is no minimum to secure a table.
If I were you I'd look at the floor plan on Chuck's profile, find the table you want, and shoot a text to Anthony
asking him if he can set you up with that table on Thursday. If he makes it happen for you, I think a $20-30 tip would
be fair. Just so you know, Anthony will probably be over at Tao or Tryst that night so you may not see him unless
you can snag him earlier in the day or something.

Second, I've heard conflicting reports about the table minimum for Hyde on a lounge night. Anthony didn't mention it, but last week someone from SBE entertainment (they run/own Hyde Bellagio I believe) said it was $50. For most people, this probably doesn't matter as it's pretty easy to rack up $50+ quickly, but I wanted to at least put it out there.

that was what it was like when we started. i don't put in a minimum, you're going to spend $50 anyways and minimums are stupid for lounges.

Agreed, you can easily land a no minimum through a host since one round of drinks for a 4 people comes out to over $50 anyways. Hitup Anthony directly to set anything up at Hyde. I've started sending him people and he's always taken good care of them. 702-350-4070
