  • Ladytrip in August - suggestions for 4-6 early 30s women?

    Hi everyone,

Wanted to get some suggestions for clubs - and regular-ass bars - that might appeal to my friends and I.

We're planning a trip for mid-August, mid-week (most likely Mon-Thurs). Hotel is up in the air; Caesars new reno is a top choice.

We are all ladies in our early 30s who work in the industry in Chicago, DC, and NYC. Since we all work weekends, we will be spending our nights out in the quieter part of the week. Which is fine by us - you can probably guess that we're over the young, amateur, frat-party type scene. We'll hang out with 20-somethings, of course - who wouldn't? - but we'd most enjoy atmospheres that are a little more grown and a little less WOOOOO JAEGER SHOTS. We've all been to Vegas, but never to a club, so please help us navigate. Industry nights are obviously a plus.

Restaurants with bar scenes are fine too - we love to eat and plan to spend most of the trip indulging anyway. So are hotel bars. I can see us dividing the nights among one club, one bar, one night partying in the room - you get the drift.

Thanks in advance for any help! (Hosts, feel free to contact, but we're not in the market for tables/bottle service, just guest list.)

I get your drift EXCEPT for the one night partying in your room. You do not have to go raging crazy all 3 nights, but please do not spend one night in your room. I am sure you girls would have a blast doing it but find a chill lounge or relaxed bar to spend that night. I would go bar/lounge, then club, and 3rd night bar/ lounge. Spend that night you were gonna spend in the room chiiling atop the Palms having fun with friends and taking in the view.

You're right - why waste a night in Vegas? The Palms sounds great - the view is probably so amazing. Thank you!

You're welcome. Also look into Hyde at the Bellagio. It is a lounge as well as a nightclub on certain nights but you can hang out there and have a drink with the fountains in the background. My personal favorite view in all of Las Vegas

+1 for Ghostbar and Hyde for your more chill nights.
If you're only doing one club during the week I'd suggest Marquee on a Monday.
It's their industry night, one of the top clubs in Vegas, you've got multiple rooms and an outdoor area, and Noah can get you on the list.

What about pools and restaurants? Do you have some things in mind already?
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Ghostbar, Marquee, Hyde - check and thank you. I will contact this Noah angel who can hook us up!

Pools - we're not really into a pool party scene. Will most likely just hang at our hotel's pool (which now is looking like the Cosmo, and it sounds like y'all on the forums dig it). As for restaurants, my list so far includes Nobu, Gordon Ramsay Steak, Comme Ca, Sage. I've been to Bouchon and the old Hubert Keller spot, Fleur de Lys - and we have Jaleo in DC, so no need to go there although it is tasty. If we stay at the Cosmo, already just there we have a ton of choices. What say you experts? I would love to hear, and also, any recs for sushi on the strip, since I have a serious addiction...

I'd like to throw Lavo in the mix for either Tuesday or Wednesday night. They'll have the patio open, the bar/restaurant open downstairs with a small club upstairs. Comme Ca is a good choice to eat at Cosmo. I've heard great things about Blue Fish (sushi) in the Cosmo as well.
