Need help with tier 2 club choices June 15th and 16th

Hey all,

I'm looking for some info for next weekend, and I had great success last year when I used this forum.

A little bit about the situation, I'm heading down with 9 other guys from my lacrosse team from the 14th to the 19th. We've got some tentative plans for the 14th, 17th and 18th already, but nothing concrete for the friday and saturday. A big limitation is about the half the guys coming down don't have the same kind of money to spend as the other half. Because of that, we've got a couple big nights planned, but the other nights we're trying to keep the costs down. So most of the guys want to predrink and then just do GA somewhere the friday and saturday, but most of the information I've found on the forum seems to be more related to big spend/high end clubs. Any suggestions as to clubs that would be decent, but not too pricey would be EXTREMELY helpful! On the flipside, if there are any suggestions as to how to get a sausage fest of guys into a high end club without resorting to BS, that would be great also.

Here is what I do not understand, if you plan on pre-gaming and doing GA those nights, why limit yourself to tier 2 clubs? You guys could go to any club and have fun that is for sure, but just because you would go to a tier 2 does not mean youre walking right in or that drinks are a ton cheaper. If you plan on splitting up into smaller groups, finding girls to even the ratio, greasing palms, or getting pre-sale tickets I would keep all options open when it comes to clubs.

I would figure out what club best fits you and your group and then contact a JC approved host and be honest and upfront and see what he/she can do for you.

I've done decent sized groups before (~10) on a budget and never have had a problem getting into places like XS and Marquee

1) Get there early - shouldn't be a big deal as most clubs have re-entry. Get in, get stamped and leave if it's too slow
2) Split up into smaller groups of 3 and 4
3) Find some girls if trying to go to Marquee

If anything do BS at places where you can get deals (Palms, Pure, 1OAK, etc.) then do GA at the top spots.
That will get you the most bang for your buck. Follow the advice from jhaulotte and nvbnr above for GA and you'll be good to go.

What do you have planned for these big nights?
If you are doing BS anywhere I would lean on that same host that you dealt with to walk you in to a club (maybe even the same place if you were feeling it).
Make sure you leverage any nightlife contact that you give money to for your trip. IMO that will be your best bet to having a fun night without having to make it rain.

You can easily do a Tier 1 with a big group of guys as long as you all buy presales in advance and showup within dress code and early. If you want to come in super late, then do what was suggested earlier and go when they open, get your stamp then go back to your room and pregame until you're ready to party then head right back to reenter and you'll have instant access and zero wait. Even if theres 200 people outside, as long as you're stamped you'll be allowed reentry at no cost and almost always no wait.
