  • 21st Birthday June 21 thru 24 need club help

    Hello,
We are taking my daughter and friends to Vegas to celebrate her 21st. We have booked them a 2 bedroom suite, plus one other room at the Mirage.

As a birthday gift we are going to pay for BS at one of the clubs for Sat. Don't want to go over 2k, tip included in budget. (can go up, if need be) There are 6 girls and 6 guys. Not couples...all friends. If cost would be better, can do it Friday night.

Since we have been staying at the Mirage since the day they opened, I was wondering about 1OAK. however am concerned it's not the "LV Club" experience. They went to Rain when my son turned 21 - First class service, private area/booth with bouncer, waitress etc. Felt like VIPs. This time they would like to try a new club. I am worried 1OAK might be to reserved for them...as Rain had quite the "CLUB" expereience. Read about HAZE but was worried about the reviews for both 1OAK and HAZE. Yelp reviews on both were not the geatest...said 1OAK small, not worth the wait or money, and HAZE was unorganized and didn't enforce dress code...let in tennis shoes, etc.

Please provide a Mom with some advice....they like "techno/house" and top 40 music.

Husband has gambled at Mirage since the day they opened, not a whale, but does gamble a sufficient amount to get RFB and any shows we want comped. It is my understanding clubs aren't part of the Casino and owned by outside companies so player status will get them in...but has nothing to do with BS.

    Thanks for all your help!

First...you win the cool mom of the year award. 1OAK has gotten better reviews from members on this forum. However, if its dance music theyre after its not the best spot. For 12 people $2000 wont be enough for a top tier club on a Friday or Saturday. Are you comfortable with doubling that? If not, there are ways to get it done with some sacrifices.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Friday night at Chateau is always a good time.

Saturday would be Tryst/XS or Surrender.

thats for a grade A time.

What would the sacrafices be? Will go up to 3k, but doubling it is a bit much as 3 of the people are not drinkers...

Thanks for the cool mom award, but hearing these prices I am feeling like a cheap Mom at the moment! LOL!

I'd try contacting some of the hosts who post here on a normal basis and let them know your budget and see what they could do for you. Maybe a pool party would be an option? Daylife has gotten to be as big as Nightlife now and can be a lot more fun. $2000 would probably go a longer way during the day then at night.

Sacrifices aren't anything major nor will they ruin the night for the group. Sounds like in your other thread you've got a viable option for a cabana at Surrender. That's a solid option if it's in your budget. Surrender is a great club, and that Friday they have a great headliner.

Chuck, you sound super knoweldgable. Thank you. A little concerned about the cabana...is it too far from the main stage to be part of the party? Did same thing for my son 3 years ago...at Rain. Only 7 kids so they were able to get a private area...unfortunately it looks as though party of 12 is 2 too many for inside...max at table inside are 10... ugh! Also doing as you suggested...have texted several hosts....Marquee, Haze, Tryst, etc. Hoping to hear back soon. REALLY want to get this all wrapped up in the next 24 hours. Never had any idea this would be so time consuming! Looks like clubbing has taken over gaming in LV!
              lol!

Surrender is HUGE! Pretty much all house music. I think the cabanas are a great option especially since it's summer time. Don't worry about it being far from the action, as big as surrender is it still gets crowded both inside and out and if their own private space is what they want a cabana will certainly give them that. Not sure about the pricing on cabanas there, but everyone here talks highly of Drew Brilakis (spelling) and would suggest you contact him.

1OAK is a great club in my opinion. I know it's not as big as other places, but they have a nice music format(they play a little of everything) and the way they have the tables set up really makes for a good time. I suggest you contact Joey Orr, he might be able to do a buy3get1free deal. After taxes and tips it should be around 2k.

3k at Marquee would get the group an inside 3rd tier table. It's acclaimed to be the #1 nightclub in Vegas and definitely the only option for the best House/EDM in Vegas.
