how do you pregame before heading out for the night

I have to get back to my office computer to post any of my drunken pics of the pregame bar I put together in the room for my last trip.

However, typically I begin my pregame at my house before I ever even leave for the airport.

Usually at least one nice big Bloody Mary for breakfast before my 15 minute ride to the Gulfport airport. Then usually a few more just to pass the time after check in. Usually no time on my flight between Gulfport and Houston or Dallas for any drinks. Nor enough time switching flights. Usually I have a few drinks on my flight from somewhere in Texas to Vegas. After rushing down to baggage claim I like to skip the cabs, shuttles, etc and just hire a driver for an hour or two so I have time to stop and stock up on Crown, Jager, Stoli, mixers, snacks etc... and hit an IN N OUT. As soon as I get to wherever I am staying I like to immediately hit the bar for a few shots just to steady the ship so to speak, then I am ready to check in.

After I get to my room I'm usually pretty thoroughly lit and its still usually too early to get out and about because it is before noon if I left early enough. So its nap time. After about 2-3 hours its time to wake and start pouring some apocalyptic sized cocktails and hit the town!

Well our tradition has been renting a car and heading out to Costco on South Pavillion to stock up on beer, alcohol, and snacks for our hotel room. Wholesale is awesome. Anyways before we head out we take shots, eat some snacks (that is if we haven't eaten dinner) then we're out the door. YES!

Out of the numerous trips I have made over the last 10 years, I don't think I have ever pregamed (alcohol-wise). The only thing I will bring along with me to put in the hotel rooms are cases of bottled water, bottles of pedialyte, and healthy snacks.

Because I gamble frequently I don't pregame that hard in the room usually.

After drinking all day at the pools and/or tables we stick to the clear liquors and stay away from the dark stuff in the room.

Ciroc, Goose, Ketel One, or Belve with cran, OJ, and red bull. 1 standard bottle per 3-4 guys. Sometimes makes it through the pregame, sometimes doesnt

A drink or two at the airport lounge before boarding (provided it's not too early and they are serving).
2-3 on the plane (vodka based), plus plenty of water for hydration (damn recirculated air!).
An obligatory beer at the first bar we see once getting of the plane (last trip it was Stellas from Home Turf Sports Bar in the D Termindal).
Then head to the hotel - if the room isn't ready, hit up Walgreens for a couple of tall boys to enjoy while wandering the strip.

That's all the "pre"-gaming. The rest of the trip is just gaming!

I generally don't pregame much in the room. I'm usually either in the casino or at dinner.
Only time I'm in the room is sleeping or showering or hydrating. I've always got a case
of water in the room.

We pregame while ironing our clothes. haha.

Shots and mixes while getting dressed up. By the time we head out, we're at 3-4 drinks. Then fill up a water bottle with vodka and mix it with redbull or whatever we have. Then each take swigs as we head down the elevator. Usually kill a couple of those water bottles between 2-3 of us before we get in the club or grab a taxi. By the time we get in the club, we're already equivalent to 7-8 drinks within 1hr.

My wife takes FOREVER to get ready, so I usually have a few red-bull vodkas in the room while I am getting ready, ironing my clothes, etc.

For group trips, I always bring an I-Pod stereo, as our room is typically home-base for groups trips. As the others in our group get ready, they slowly trickle down to our room, and we usually have a 60 minute drinking/jam-out session while the girls are finishing getting ready. On our way out the door, we each make a drink for the road (don't forget the solo cups).

LOL yeah, not much of a bar. However it was enough to get me moving while in the room. Sometimes I like to just chill and have some alone time between activities while in town. My only two trips were mostly by myself so it wasn't like I had a big group to party with aside from strangers at different venues.

I have actually never taken any pics of the pre-game alcohol, but we do always hotel pregame. Normally some Patron shots and some rum or Vodka mixed drinks about an hour before heading out. We will normally take something with us while walking/cabbing to the club also.
If its a special occasion, we will pop a bottle before heading out. Usually Moet.
