  • Girls' Weekend June 20th

    Hi All,

It's been a few years since I've been to Vegas and I'm very excited about our trip. We're a group of 8 girls in our late 20s arriving on Wed June 20th leaving Sunday. I was wondering how we should go about booking clubs, would contacting the hosts on this site be the best bet? Does that actually work? I want to avoid waiting in lines if possible.

Also, if you have any suggestions on good clubs to go too that would be fantastic. I'm looking for places with a slightly older crowd so I don't feel too old

I'm staying at Mandalay Bay and from what I can tell, they don't really have a decent club to go too - please correct me if I'm wrong.

    Thanks in advance!!

    Tena

    Wed - Surrender
    Thurs - Tryst
    Fri - Hyde
    Sat - XS

That is your best bet for a more sophisticated crowd. Waiting in line is honestly going to depend on what your group looks like. unfortunately this is the brutal truth. All of these clubs you could get on a guest list for, but there will still be a guest list line. Your best bet is to go early. (Clubs open at 1030) Ill be happy to add you to my guest list at Hyde if you choose to come in.

Thanks Anthony! The last few times we've been to Vegas, getting into the clubs hasn't been too much of an issue but I've never gone with such a big group. We're a vball team that's going, so I would say all pretty athletic girls but definitely not the plastic surgery enhanced, super tanned which i always envision as the "Vegas type" lol

Would you sugges us getting bottle service at one of those clubs on a particular night? And can I send you a private message with my details for the guest list?

          Hi Tena,

I’m actually going to be staying at Mandalay Bay during those dates too with a bachelorette party! Fun coincidence.

I think the easiest way to get into the clubs (other than bottle service) is the guest list. I prefer to contact hosts that are regular posters here – like Anthony Connelly. All the hosts that I have found through JC have been great to me – so yes, it does work.

I know there is a guest list line, but I have never waited more than 20 seconds to get into the club. I’m not sure that this is everyone’s experience but it has always been mine. Dress sharp and it will be fine.

My favorite clubs are: TAO, Tryst, Lavo, The Bank, XS. I always find the crowd to be a variety with all types of people. You and your girls should be fine. I am slightly older than you and never seem to feel out of place.

Definitely, no club at Mandalay Bay, but the pool is great. Are you girls getting a cabana?

          Good luck,
          Kristin

Anthony - tried to reply to your pm but I don't have enough posts lol Will text you my details closer to the date!

Kristen! Amazing coincidence How many girls are you going with? Haven't even thought about getting a cabana? Would you suggest it? I've never stayed at Mandalay Bay so not really sure what to expect - is the pool packed with kids?? Do you know which clubs you're planning on hitting up?

Woot woot! Vegas!!! I'm so excited

Mandalay's pool is damn nice. I don't recall it being over-run with kids unless you were at the wave pool. They do have a 21+ only pool called Moorea Beach Club. I've never seen anyone post about it on JC but it seems similar to Liquid or Bare.

Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

I agree, Guestlist is your best bet. Don't waste money on a table unless you're very heavy drinkers or just want your own table to sit at throughout the night.

Nope, this is a different group of girls.

That last group, will probably never go to Vegas with me again. Hahaha. They said everything was too expensive (sorry - if I like bottle service and nice big hotel rooms), too intense (I only sleep 4 hours a night in Vegas) and too long of a trip (14 days was too long).

I have a group of 8 ladies, including myself.

The pool is full of kids, which is why you need the cabana. They are fairly well priced Monday - Thursday and split between 8 people. Food and beverage is on top of the rental. But it's fun.

We are keeping the night club schedule loose. None of these girls can afford bottle service so we'll just be doing the guest lists. I will start texting hosts that week. I want to try Marquee because I haven't been there yet. We'll probably hit up XS and The Bank plus Haze or 1Oak.

Hey Kristin I'll be there that same time. Were looking into getting a cabana one or two days, what area do you suggest is the best area for cabanas. If I remember they have them faced and located all over the place. Also you said that drinks are not included in cabanas?

I prefer the Private Garden Bungalows, but the rest of the girls want the Lazy River Cabanas - so that's what we are doing. The fee is only the rental, and does not include your food, drinks or tips to the server.
