LAX $50 Open Bar

Although I have read that LAX has possibly gone down hill the last few years, a few of my friends have some very fond memories of that place. So - since I'm helping plan four days in Vegas towards the end of June, I'm hoping that someone here might give me an opinion on LAX in general and more specifically their $50 open bar from 10:30pm to 12:30am. I've inquired about bottle service for a Friday night, which is very reasonable. However, after a couple of pool parties and BS at Hyde, I'm thinking that the $50 open bar might be a better option.

Anyhow, if anyone has ever done this or knows about it, your thoughts would be much appreciated.

As much as I agree with anthony, I still say go check it out for yourself. You never know, everyone has different taste and what may be lame to us may be the best time for you.

I had some friends come too long ago, took them to XS and they didn't have a good time. They went to Tabu and said they had the time of their lives...They must have been on bathsalts or something, but whatever as long as they had fun lol.

Thank you very much for the input. I anticipated that the reviews would not be too favorable but I just wanted to confirm. DeX does bring up a good point though. So, I will just give the guys this input and let them make the decision. I'm easy going either way and will have a good time wherever we end up. After following this forum for a while, we have BS at Hyde on Tuesday, pools will be Liquid and Marquee Dayclub, Spearmint one night and a tier 2 on Friday (Probably Pure). So - thanks again for the input as well as answering a few other questions I have asked.

lol. i had a client i was watching gamble like 2 months ago that didn't want a certain dealer and the pit boss wouldn't change her out when the main dealer went on break so he made an entire 20minute break last 2 hands. so much thinking was involved...

I got a table there last year on a Friday night with 11 people and we all had a blast. It was a good time. Good crowd. Packed, but room to move still. Had booth bnext to the DJ and it was great.

havent been there since april 2011 but the last time I went I had a good time. Overall crowd quality doesnt compare to tier 1 spots but we still had no problem finding attractive ladies. Decent spot if you want to hear top 40/hip-hop.

I wouldn't go just for the open bar though because as Anthony mentioned there are cheaper ways to get drinks.
