Anyone been to Moon on a Thursday?

Hey,

Was thinking of going to Vegas and staying for 2 nights: Wed and Thurs. My friend and I are both 23 and think the Palms might be the right hotel for us: unpretentious, part vibes and plenty of guys and girls our age.

Now I know whenever Newbies ask on this forum where they should go on Thursday the response is always the same:

Tao, Tryst or Haze.

But what about Moon? Can anyone who's actually been on a Thursday give me the lo-down?

I personally like it. However, I prefer good club hip hop over EDM. When they pull the roof back and you see the stars, you know you're in Vegas! I dig Tryst as well but if you think you will have a good time at Moon you will... make the party yourself!

They play mainly EDM at Moon on Thursday, right, not hip hop? I love hip hop, don't get me wrong, but I go to a club to hear EDM mainly.

I went to Moon on a thursday in march. It was EDM heavy in the beginning. More of a mix as time went on. The club didn't have a young, party vibe imo. More like a weird sausage fest. The gogo dancers and fog were the only good things... Maybe it's better now that it's summer

We went a year ago April. It was our first night in Vegas and our first time with bottle service. We had a great time, it's the perfect place to start off our trip. Music was a mix of EDM and hip hop, which we liked. Crowd was a mix too, and you're right, not pretentious.

Thanks for the replies guys. It's looking increasingly likely that we'll be making Thursday our big night out in Vegas so more feedback would be cool. The last thing we'd want is for it to be a "sausage fest", as missiitgirl described it.
