First trip this Thursday, have a bunch of questions and need some help

Hey everyone me and two buddies are going to vegas this Thursday for EDC weekend all our first time, I still have a bunch of questions and got great advice on here so far so I'll go ahead and ask for some advice, I booked a table at Marquee for Thursday the 7th with Larson since everyone here recommended him, I got $1000 minimum for the patio.My first question is, is Larson the guy I need to tip and if so how? Do I txt him before I arrive and he comes out and I hand him $100 (most say that is a fair tip, if not please let me know) I was thinking he would be so busy that night that he does not have time to show every group to their table. Do I also need to text him ahead of time and let him know I am tipping so I don't get stuck with a table by the trash on the patio? Then how do I know who security is to tip and is $20 enough, does every table have their own bouncer or does one watch a set amount of tables? How many beers does a case include? Then after Marquee me and just one buddy want to go to some pool parties either Tiesto at encore, or Avicii at Marquee, I screwed up and didn't order presale tickets ahead of time, is there still a chance we can get into either party if we arrive super early like 9am since it's only two of us, we are cosmopolitan guest if that makes a difference as far as Marquee day club goes. Also does anyone have anything I forgot to mention or reviews of the rooftop patio at Marquee, I love to be in the middle of the action but just can't afford $2500 for main room.

Yes Larson would be the one you want to do the handshake tip with as he is one of the factors that determines where your table is. How you go about doing it is when you get to the main entrance of Marquee with your group, call him up or text him and he'll tell you where to meet him at. When he comes up to you, handshake him the tip. In my opinion I usually would go with $100/per bottle (which is usually $500) so I would give him a $200 host tip to get a decent location in your case, any less might get you a bad location, any more than $200 will probably get you a better location.

Then how do I know who security is to tip and is $20 enough, does every table have their own bouncer or does one watch a set amount of tables? How many beers does a case include?

Every section (3-4 tables) will have a designated security/bouncer. When you get walked to your table, your host will introduce you to him, your waitress, and your runner. You'll know who to tip to take care of you for the night. $20 is usually enough for the security and another $20 for the runners for the night, more if you have a special request or they do something out of the norm for you. And I believe a case of beer includes 24 bottles if I'm not mistaken. If someone could confirm this.

Then after Marquee me and just one buddy want to go to some pool parties either Tiesto at encore, or Avicii at Marquee, I screwed up and didn't order presale tickets ahead of time, is there still a chance we can get into either party if we arrive super early like 9am since it's only two of us, we are cosmopolitan guest if that makes a difference as far as Marquee day club goes.

Tiesto at Encore is usually a sold out show and with your ratio I don't think they'll let you in without girls. My recommendation to you would be to talk to Marquee host and see if he is willing to walk you in the next day for a cover fee since you got bottle service the night before. I would contact him sometime this week to confirm that, don't wait till Thursday night when you see him. Cosmopolitan guests don't have any privileges on holiday/special event weekends which this weekend technically falls under.

This is a special week. They have the full club open, its not the typical Thursday with only the boombox room open. Benny Bennassi and friends are hosting Thursday night, its one of the "official" EDC week events.

tip larson. handshake at the start of the night usually works.. $100 per bottle/$500spend is usually my bare minimum so in your case, $200 for a "decent" location. more $ for a "good" location. text or call works.. i usually just call when i get there and let the host know im outside and he'll come meet me. i tip the security $40, although $20 works if you dont really plan on using him much (bathroom escorts, getting rid of bottle rats, inviting girls over, etc.).. tip another $20 to the runner (guy who will clena your table, refill mixers, etc.). since this is a "special event" weekend, your key wont work, but if i were you, id text larson to see if he can possibly walk you guys in for a tip.. or even PM/text noah on the forums and see what he can do

Do you guys think TAO will be a better deal overall, I just found out one of my friends bailed so it's just two people now, I'm looking for about $1000 minimum give or take a couple of hundred, as far as a better deal on bottles, a better location, more girls, and a better party in general. Marquee or Tao?

we did $1k at Tao on Friday and had a table by the right side of the bar....not a bad spot at all especially if you know how to 'hunt' for ladies....

They'll both be full and both have lots of ladies. Marquee will have more of your younger hotter EDM girls, and TAO will have an overall mix but still hot girls nonetheless. With Benny Benassi spinning though, expect it to be simliar to a Saturday @ Marquee, because he brings a great crowd and throws a pretty insane party.

You're gonna get the same at either Tao or marquee. You're right on it being EDC week so on Thursday atb & dash Berlin are spinning at Tao that night so don't expect open format.
