Electric Daisy Carnival Veteran Tips??

So this will be my first Carnival, and I was wondering if there were any veterans in the forum that have some tips of EDC.

Is there a great place to watch certain stages? What is the best time to get there? Should my glowstick be in my right hand or left?

Any tips would be great, thanks in advance!
