So it was just announced that on Sept 15th; James Kirkland vs. Saul Alvarez are fighting at MGM. I have never been the Vegas on a fight weekend and am wondering if this is going to inflate table rates and Cabanas?

LDW is the official end of the summer rush. The summer crowds somewhat end around beginning of Sept. Not to say that it will be dead, because it wont be. It just wont have that summer crowd as much. There will still be people coming into town to party, etc so you'll be ok man. The big draws are big fights such as mayweather or Pacquiao. Canelo is a superstar in Mexico (It's Mexican Independence Day, hence why he's headlining the card, but I don't think the pools/clubs consider it a holiday pricing weekend). Kirkland is never in a boring fight but is relatively unknown outside of the hardcore fans, but aside from Floyd & PAC, who is in the U.S.? Should be a good fight as long as it lasts.Past Trips
