All you can drink packages

Has anyone seen/tried these all you can drink packages for clubs?

I saw one for Koi at PH (thats a small club just above the gaming floor right?).. $39 for admission plus open bar (no beer/energy drinks, well drinks only).
I was just wondering if this would possibly be worth getting or if open bar packages at clubs are sucker deals?

Not sure about the one at Koi, but others spoke highly of the 20 dollar at Gold Lounge and the special at LAX.
