Going Vegas 11/06/12 to 18/06/12 from UK ,Dress codes , vans ? and Clubs to go

Alright Guys

new to the site , and me and my mate are coming over to Vegas from 11th june - 18th june , from manchester england having been to may clubs back home and in europe most clothing and footwear is allowed

whats the dress code like in vegas ? as back home you can go in clubs with smart Vans and similar style footwear , is this allowed in vegas? is it strictly shoes as in black suit shoes? are any type of smart trainers allowed?

also clothing attire whats best to wear? is it just jeans and pants ? are chino's allowed ? and can you wear smart polo shirts out there or just shirts allowed in the clubs?


also want to hit the best clubs out there and a few pool partys where do you guys recommend?

any help here would be greatly appreciated as never been vegas so wanna bring or buy the right stuff to get in as back home we can get in wearing anything as long as its decent ,

From experience, I'd say, shirt/jeans/shoes as a minimum. Least then you know you can get in almost anywhere.
nothing worse than taking a chance on trainers, even smart ones, then getting knocked back to the hotel to change them!

Ps: the shirt has got to have a collar! That's the impression I get from what I see & hear.

If you got room in your schedule, hit the top spots for club and pool. Dress codes about the same as it is in London from my experience.

ImO...

TAO and TAO Beach are the best value in town for bottles
XS and Marquee are the most popular Mega Clubs with the best lineups for EDM DJ's
Hyde is a new smaller venue with a great crowd and location (behind Bellagio fountains)
Surrender and Tryst are the best medium size locations with patios
Best pool parties are Wet, EBC, MDC, and Tao Beach
