Style Help

Pathetic , I know...but it's reality for me.
Coming to Vegas for my 40th soon.

At any rate, clubs just didn't plain exist when I used to go to Vegas back in the day, and i don't frequent them much now- actually, ever. So, I need to know what the best attire is for a 40y/o white 6.2', 230lb male is. I have a pair of clean 7 for all mankind jeans, black leather bruno malgi shoes. Mainly need advice for shirt and/or jacket.

My fear is that due to drinking and other activities I'll be sweating a lot..., and these places will be hot as fuc I suppose. (No one ever mentions sweat on any style forums for these clubs but I imagine it's got to be something one has to contend with, right?)

Hate the fitted shirt with upturned cuff look, plus I'm 40- don't want to be dressed to young.... or too old or in my brooks brother 'business attire' (all you young punks can laugh all you want- wait till you see how much it can change when you're not looking). Anyway, any real advice would be welcome and greatly appreciated.

I like wearing Robert Graham's shirts, Levi's and a fresh pair of loafers.. (most likely something from aldo, not worried if they get scuffed up..)

wife beater to help with the sweat but not be too bulky.
Do a short sleaved button up. I've got a couple CK ones, they're not that expensive and will get you in cool and comfortable.

The real trick for sweat is wearing a v neck tee under the button down as tight as is comfortable. Even it it gets drenched in sweat, the outer shirt will stay dry. As a guy in his mid 30s (celebrating 36 on my next trip) I find that you can pull off whatever you are comfortable with... try a pattern shirt like gingham with a solid slim but not skinny tie worn loosely... you'll look cool but you will be wearing something familiar to you. If you want to really mix it up get a wild pattern pocket square and toss that in the back pocket of the jeans (not hanging out but stuffed in like you would do on your breast pocket) and it will look like you put some thought into it while having something to wipe your brow with!

Definitely not compression tight. Just not the loose type you would wear as out and about tee. I always make sure mine stay in contact with the skin as close as possible to soak up the sweat.

why definitley not, are those "visable". I don't have one, but if they flatten out some man boobs then I'm ok with that!

If I do a V-neck undershit I go one size smaller than I'd usually do in a regular tshirt...fits nice and does a bit to tame the moobs without being uncomfortable.

Do you guys really feel that an undershirt helps absorb sweat? If I am sweating, it's going thru both shirts.
A black shirt usually helps disguise wet pits.

see I agree, if I'm going through one, then it's pushing thru the second layer. so usually black or white can work, but white can get see thru. I google these compression tanks- look good but I'm afraid they would heat you up like an inferno.

I know I have a hanes microfiber tee that's like an oven

Get prescription deodarent if you are really worried about it. Wear dark colors. Short sleeve button ups are more daytime IMO and cant be pulled off by everyone. Can often look like insurance salesman

Buy a table at the club. This way you wont be shoulder to shoulder and packed in like a sardine.
