  • Tier 2 Club Saturday Night

Ok so I've made a few posts about an upcoming trip that were doing. I have gotten a lot of great info and think I have come up with a good idea of what we are looking for.
There will be 20 of us (12 guys, 8 girls), we'll be having a late dinner at Fix and then some gambling hitting a club between 1 and 2. I think we (the guys) will arrive first and the girls will meet us by 2-2:30. This is kind of a joint bachelor/bachelorette party and most of are married/engaged, also most of the girls we are meeting up with are our significant others (we have like 4 couples). There are only 3 single guys so we don't need a spot with the hottest girls, the biggest DJ's, or the best location inside the venue. We really are looking for nice looking venue where we can have a lot of space on a Saturday night, get wasted and dance.
We prefer top 40 and hip-hop (old school hip-hop would be awesome) and would like to keep the bottle prices down.
Originally Chuck had suggested Hyde, but I think that we a) do not need the hottest/most popular club(s) and b) will garner a minimum for the size of our party that will be too high.
So now I am considering Tier 2 clubs like Chateau, Pure, 1Oak, (or any other suggestions, def. wanna be on the Strip though) basically the nicest place where we will have a good setup and a reasonable bottle deal.
I'm not trying to cheap out (as that clearly is not the JC way!) but trying to accommodate 20 f'ing people is driving me insane! I know my list is pretty specific but I'm sure that this board will direct me properly.
    Thanks!

I would look into Haze. Contact Joey Orr and see what he caould do. They play a good variety of music and it is not the most expensive place. Joey's number is 586-873-4876.

      Thanks, Haze looks pretty cool.
      Have any experience with Chateau?

No sorry. Not personally, but I do know Chateau and gallery are two spots that you could get a good deal.

I know Thomas Gorman has hooked up many with great deals at Pure, just a thought if you are looking for a possible B2 G1 or in your case B4 G2.

            Even on a Saturday night?

Also should I just be trying to get a big table for the guys and get the girls in guest list?

I have never had a group that big before, but that seems to be the consensus with most members on here. Does not matter what night it is, it is worth asking the host about. Be up front with him and try.

+1 to Pure or Haze if I were in your shoes. I'd probably guest list the ladies also...I think as long as Pure isn't having a celeb host or headliner of some kind you could probably swing a deal on bottles. Both of those guys have been good to forum members from what I've read. As far as "space" goes, Pure is the bigger of the two I believe.

Edit: After looking over the floor plans I'd do Haze. Pure looks like a maze of tables scattered everywhere...Haze looks to be more focused around the dance floor and more spacious even if it's less square footage than Pure.

Chuck brings up a good point with regards to space. Not sure how 20 people will work. One huge table?(which I am not sure they even fit that many) or 2 tables right next to each other?

That's why I leaned towards Haze...they have some huge booths by the dance floor and other areas where you could have two booths side by side. Just looked more HUGE ASS GROUP friendly.

Thanks Chuck. From the pics/floor plan of Haze I've seen the layout does seem to support my group size, I just wish there were more pics to confirm these opinions.
Anybody know what kind of music they play on a Saturday?
Also any past experience with a good bottle deal on Saturday?
I haven't really looked at 1oak, does that seem like a good fit?

Jesus I have a lot of questions, just tell me to stop and I will lol.

There are floor plans on my profile for Haze.

Here is a view from the "VIP" Area. Booths look pretty damn big and there's a huge one right by the DJ booth on the dance floor.

Music will probably be open format unless they have a headliner

I've never been to Haze, so can't comment on it. However, let me second Pure. For the type of music you're looking for & looking for a good deal, hit up Thomas Gorman (702-340-6498) & ask about an elevator table. It's not right in the middle of the action, but close enough to it and a nice location inside the club. He got my group a B2G1 for this location so you can ask for that. With a group your size, you may have to do a B3G1 unless you ask him to guest list the ladies. This section is definitely big enough for you guys to be comfortable and have a good time. If he can't get you the elevator table, ask about the side room. I'm only suggesting the side room since you said a prime location isn't important (we personally didn't like this location though) & I know you can get good deals there.

Thanks for the info, are the Elevator tables the one labeled ELV-A/B etc. on the floor plan? I'm sure they are but I just wanna make sure. http://sheetsvip.com/wp-content/uplo...floor-plan.pdf

Does anyone have experience with the big VIP areas at Haze that Chuck mentioned? Are they big enough for my group?

That Haze pic can be misleading. There usually isnt that table/band thing in the middle. LOL. So the dancefloor is a bit bigger. Unlless its always been there but I just never noticed. haha.

We had a table on that balcony thing on the first picture. It was actually that exact table last fall. I honestly dont recall all of it since I was pretty buzzed. LOL. It was hosted by a certain company we deal with and it was open bar/continuous bottles were being brought to the table.
The balcony seemed higher than that. LOL.

Haze is cool. I think its underrated and not talked about as much. I've had a great time everytime we went there. I guess the main thing that doesnt draw us there is that the DJs we like to see are usually at M/X/S. A-Trak is pretty cool and he's DJed at Haze a few times from what I recall. I'd come check that out.
