Help!! Two London girls first trip to Vegas!

Never been to Vegas before and don't no where to start!

Me and my best mate (both 21) are heading to Vegas on the 19th June for a week and want to make it as crazy as possible! we are staying at the flamingo as we were told it is a good central location but no its not really where the parties will be at.

We love house music and don't mind the current top 40, even a cheeky bit of cheese
What clubs/pool parties would everyone recommend?
And are there any other must do things?

as there are only two of us, bottle service in clubs will be an expensive option, but will there be people willing to join us?

Since you will have the ideal ratio of 100% female you've got lots of options. All top spots will appeal musicaly. Really will come down to budget, looks, and overall friendliness you and your friend bring with you. There is a couple of nice lads on here (Noah and Anthony) that would love for nothing more than to help you enjoy your stay given you bring to the table the afformentioned. The more looks...the less budget required.

+1 on what Chuck wrote. Also some advice would be to not take the weekdays too lightly, most days M-Th are industry nights at the clubs, the crowd is usually a little better looking and REALLY know how to party (they live in Vegas, lol). If you listen to the advice on this forum you can't go wrong.

Also if your able to back out of your resos with the Flamingo and would like to stay at a hotel with a little more atmosphere a couple recommendations in the same price range would be Mirage, Monte Carlo, even Luxor. Hard Rock and Palms always have pretty good rates but are a little off the strip.

+1 for Mirage...gotta say I hate Luxor though...place is just depressing to me. I dont know what it is but the vibe is just weird in there.

IMO the best party vibe are Cosmo and Planet Hollywood.

Everything else is just all the same to me. Other strip properties I've also stayed at recently are Aria, Bellagio, Encore, Venetian, Paris, Caesars, Monte Carlo and Mandalay Bay. They all feel the same to me. A place to stay and a casino to play a bit and pass through.
But when I stay at PH or Cosmo, theres a party vibe that is going on all the time. You'll feel more of it during the weekend as thats when the younger crowd rolls in.

If thats what you're looking for, stay at those 2 places. If its not that important, which it really isnt IMO, I would say stay at any other hotel and treat it like a homebase. You dont have to necessarily do stuff there. Just a place to shower and sleep. Head out to other places on the strip for all other activities.

As a first timer I would stay on the strip. HardRock and Palms are nice hotels/casinos, but you would end up having to take cabs all the time no matter where you want to go.

As you might have read on the forums, Marquee@Cosmo, Surrender and XS @ Encore are the top House clubs in town right now. So make sure you check those out.

Girls can get on a guestlist at those places often, you just have to look for the contacts on here on who to call.

Ah ok thanks for all that info This trip was my 21st birthday present so its all booked up and paid for so flamingo it is, but like you said will just use it as a homebase!

Unless we win big (which is very unlikely ) we won't be able to do big club night every night, are there any bars you would recommend for a cheaper night? x

I will tell you some bars...but you must understand the power of the 100% female ratio in Vegas. If you get hooked up with the right people you can have some great experiences that the boys will be happy to pay for.

If I were you I'd be asking for names of promoters and hosts that have helped other ladies do it up right for their birthdays.

Anyway...you should be able to get in to most of the clubs with little to no wait if you're there somewhat early. May have a $20 cover, but as I said, dress well, have a welcoming/friendly attitude and you'll probably get approached by a promoter to enter free of charge.

Check out Carnival Court at Harrah's for a great time, strong drinks, and fairly inexpensive entertainment. Some other spots worth doing would be MIX at THE Hotel or Ghostbar at Palms for the views. Hyde at Bellagio to get up close and personal with the fountains and meet Anthony, the hardest working host in Vegas. You can do the $20 open bar at Gold Lounge at Aria also....just for starters.

Let me ask you this...if you could do anything you wanted on your trip, money no object, what would it be?

+2 for Mirage, cool vibe and the renovated rooms are really nice and modern.

Also- Take at the look at the Venetian/Palazzo. Still a good location and a really fun crowd imo on the weekends. The standard rooms are the biggest on the strip and the prices are reasonable. I think there's a 20% off promotion on their website.

Carnival Court is definitely a good time, I also had a great time at Margaritaville a couple years back. Miracle Mile Shops also have a couple bars that could be hit or miss on any given night.

But like others said being that your 2 attractive girls, many hosts/promoters would love to have you at their clubs and in most cases would comp admission and/or drinks/open bar
