Club Newbie

I am going with a buddy to Vegas and I feel like checking out Marquee.(Just to say I have been) I only feel like walking in and having a few drinks and leaving. How long would I have to wait in line? I want to do the same for Marquee day club. I am staying at the Cosmo. I will be there Thursday through Sunday.

As a Cosmo guest, you will be put in a shorter line and given free admission on Thursday and/or Friday. Just make sure you have your room keys and some girls would help.

Being 35 and overweight and married the Club thing is not my scene but I like to say I have been here and there in Vegas. Vegas is my favorite spot and have been there many times. Most of my time is spent donating money to the casinos in an attempt to win money

Dont be surprised if a drink or two turns into 8 or 9 and your fist pumpin on the dance floor. Something strange happens when inside a mega club like Marquee...youre not you anymore...that 25 year old buried beneath deadlines, honey-do lists, and yard work comes surging out and you find yourself stumbling out at 4am. Embrace it my friend...

Having fun has no criteria on how you look, your age and marital status. hahah.

I'm 36, married, and not super hardbody either. LOL. But I'm in Vegas at least once a month with friends my age and younger. I did my time of clubbing in the mid 90s, early 2000s and I'm back the last couple years at Vegas.

Excited to see how you'll like it. Pretty cool that someone is open minded to checking out the clubs even though its not your scene. Hope you enjoy!

I was actually just reading some more on clubs. I have one more question. If we don't have girls with us that means we won't get in? It says even girl/guy ratio. I don't want to waste my time waiting in line to get denied. THanks again

Also make sure you get there early... if you dont want to wait in line for ever.

Your best bet is to have an even ratio. Worst case you ask a few girls in line if they'd like to be your guests and get in faster. Then you can go your separate ways once inside if needed.

You'll be fine if you arrive early. And yes I have no doubt some girls would love to be your +1. I have no doubt the doors will be slammed and lines long from open to close...so come close to open time and be the first ones in line, lol.
