Difference between XS and Marquee Night Clubs?

I posted earlier about going to XS on Friday May 25th. However, after reading more posts I get the feeling that these two newcomers are equally well liked. Also, current presale tickets to Marquee are cheaper than XS. Let's say that we (my male companion and I) don't favor any particular DJ and like a variety of dance music. Which club would be better for decor, size, impressiveness. I would say "fun interesting crowd" but realize that on MDW that is something that cannot be estimated. I've seen pics of XS but still looking for Marquee. Also, I may just buy the presale today so trying to make a decision soon.

both have outdoor areas, both have outdoor gaming, both have multiple bars, both are fairly large and new. XS is the more decorated and ornate club on the inside, but marquee is the newer shinier club. marquee also has 3 different rooms, with different music in each. you honesty cannot go wrong with either!

Having been to both numerous times. Everyone will have their own preferences and gripes about any location. I would say both are equally great. Just try it out and see what you think of it.

exactly. you honestly won't have a bad time at either venue and can't go wrong with either.

If you guys want to listen to 100% EDM then XS as it only has one dancefloor.

Marquee has a top 40/hip hop room but that place is like a sardine can. More so since it will be during MDW

And it looks like both clubs are gonna have some of the best DJs that night. You honestly cant go wrong with either.

Just go with the one that's closer to your hotel. Easier to....

This will be up to you.. Go to both and decide. Its like comparing apples and oranges. Aside from music type.

Having not been to either myself I would choose Marquee mostly because of the multiple room situation...especially if you're going GA. Secondly, Marquee is in the Cosmo which IMO has more to offer outside the club (i.e. Chandlier Bar & Bond) and the overall vibe of Cosmo is more akin to my liking...

Before XS changed its layout and ruined the indoor/outdoor open concept, I would have said XS for sure. Now? Now I would only give XS a slight edge. The waiting area and outdoor area are much nicer at XS in my opinion, and Wynncore blows Cosmopolitan out of the water. If you are doing GA, there's also Tryst and Surrender if you leave XS. Or you could go to either of those first and then hit XS.

Both will be disgusting without bottles on a big weekend. Thats a fact. You will end up outside and that being said..I'd take outside XS over outside Marquee. However Marquee outside still gives you the "part of the club" feel because the music is loud outside too. I just wouldn't go to Marquee to hang outside. The lure to me is being inside with the DJ's. Inside Marquee is better but you will be shoved and told to keep it moving if not on the dance floor or at the bar..XS doesn't really do that as much.

Marquee has more of a variety with the hip hop room(gross..and I'm not talking about the music) and library. But no one really stays in the library and you need to climb all these high school gym type stairs to go in between rooms and to leave the club. I love Marquee and the DJ's but the organization and set up still needs work there. just my two cents

Okay, good points from all. We are staying at Caesars so Cosmo would be very close, plus I've never been inside Cosmo before. So that's a check for Marque. But it seems XS maybe better with tables. Decision decisions. Are the rooms in Marquee large? I kinda like the openness and hear that XS excels at that. But I know we are going to want to dance so I hope not having a table will be a problem.

For MDW Saturday, bottle prices will be much higher then usual. The Patio is still a fun party with lots of walking space and an extension of the same DJ. The other rooms are relatively small, the main room is obviously massive.

not an issue....pick one for Friday night, the other for Saturday...problem solved...there'll be lines both days crowded both days...holiday prices both days. Get ur tix online pre-sale & get there early.
