Bottle Service Planning for Bachelor Party- Advice needed

Mid June arrival. Complete newb to the straight sausage approach. I normally have a gf/couples. Surprise, surprise I always get the world handed on a silver platter. Is there any considerations I should keep in mind? I'd imagine an all guy table isn't exactly first priority.

There's only 5 of us give or take. Narrowed it down to Marquee and XS(Unless someone has other suggestions for a Bachelor party). Never did BS at either of these clubs. What's the minimum we should allocate after tip, service charge..ie to have a good time?

On Sunday and Monday at XS with 5 guys you'll be able to get away with a 2-bottle minimum. Seating won't be great, but you can improve that with a $200 tip and telling your host that up-front.

If you go to XS on the weekend, your group will probably be looking at $1,750-$2,000 min.

For Marquee, you can probably get away with 2 bottles on a Monday (but again, bad location). Ask a host how a $200 tip can improve that.

As for Marquee on the weekend, you will be looking at about a $2,000 min.

All guys wont be a problem for bottle service. Amounts above look reasonable. Might consider a pool party. Spends are generally a little less and still a great party with less of those pesky clothes.

I've done bottle service with 8-10 guys and have no trouble. Minimums fall in between 2-3 bottles after tax and tip anywhere from $1500-$2300 I'd say. I'm with Chuck though, skip the bottle service at the club and just get a daybed, table, or cabana at a pool party instead. Better atmosphere in my opinion. Can't beat it.

We just figured the way to go at night would be bottle service. I can't imagine 5 guys doing a club with out BS.

The$2k minumum doesn't include tip for the waitress or anything for that matter, correct? Or do they auto include that? If not how much do you leave her? If we plan on tipping $400 to the host. Security will get $100 and bar back $50, unless you disagree. Can you help me break down the total bill we should expect? Also, are we going to pretty much be subject to back wall?

Oh how I enjoy breaking down BS....here goes

Min Spend = $2000
Tax = $162
Server Tip = $400
Host Tip = $400
Runner Tip = $40
Security Tip = $40 (more if you plan on a little rowdiness)
Total = $3042

IMO...if you're good with backwall you can dial back that host tip to like $250 or $300.

Edit...That server tip is 20%, not sure if XS auto-adds that or not. Also, pretty sure XS bottles are like $600/each now since they added a $100/bottle fee or something. Read that recently in another thread. If it were me, I would only do XS if I was dying to see the DJ...otherwise you can do much better elsewhere for that kind of money.

Ahhhhhhh... The invaluable opinions of a professionals. I'm all ears! We are 25-30yr old business men looking for one thing, ladies. Of course, we would like the place to be happening, but I suppose those two go hand in hand. Where else would you suggest we look into? We are staying at the Encore so that was the big draw there.

IMO Tao is the best value by far right now. Consensus seems to be on a Friday you can generally expect an equally good crowd at XS, Marquee, and Tao. So crowd is basically equal.

So it comes down to table location and value.

I attached a spreadsheet that compares the three venues if you did 3 bottles of Goose. Here's the result:

Tao = $2299
Marquee = $2926
XS = $3510

Same bottles....so how about location....

Those "all in" prices include a $400 host tip and are for the following minimums:

Tao = $1125
Marquee = $1425
XS = $1875

Here's your likely location with those minimums/tips:

Tao = Main room
Marquee = Boom Box or Patio (most would choose patio)
XS = Outside, maybe backwall if you're lucky

Tao gets bonus points for the fact you get the pleasure of working with the infamous Chris Traer for the evening.

5 guys at Marquee Friday would only need 2 bottles which is 1k minimum and would be a patio table. Dayclub would be a $750 Daybed depending on the DJ/event, but we generally recommend a cabana for anything more then 3 or 4 guys which is a $1500 minimum. This is all before tax/tip.
