  • Ability to charge to room?

A couple years back I stayed at MGM Grand and went to Wet Republic over LDW. I was able to charge all drinks at WR directly to my MGM Room. This was nice as I didn't have to worry about cash or credit cards.

Is anyone aware of whether or not you can do the same for cabana/table service? Specifcially I will be staying at Cosmo this weekend (just happen to be in Vegas at same time as mAyOD) and am going to Marquee Day Club on Friday / Night Club on Saturday. Can I charge our bottle service directly to my room or is better to pay with credit card in this case?

    Thanks,
    David

It differs from location to location, but generally speaking you can do a room charge for Bottle Service, etc if you're staying at that property. I think it's just a Credit Auth that's done through their systems to make sure you've got enough to cover. It would go on the card you put down when you checked in.

Check with Cosmo concierge just to be sure, but I don't think it'll be a problem as long as you got the available fundage on your card

Sounds like someone doesn't want "Night club" or "Pool Party" showing up on their credit card bill or is only allowed to expense their hotel bill to their work?

I wish it was that good of a reason. Mostly that I am terrible at closing tabs and tend to leave/lose cards quite regularly that if I can avoid having them on me. I try.

Should also note that after reading the tipping thread, I do realize I will need some cash in order to be able to tip out all involved parties.

I've never had an issue charging pool or club tabs to my room.

I'd rather suffer the bills as they come, rather than a big reminder on check out how much you actually spent when you're already sad to be leaving.

A concierge or Casino Host can handle that for you. I'll ask if you can do it directly through us as well.
