Bottle service....beer?

Just curious do any clubs allow groups to substitute something like a case of beer for a bottle if they do bottle minimums? I got a 3 bottle minimum plus 1 comped bottle at Pure coming up in a couple weeks. Some of the guys in my group would prefer beer to liquor. I wasn't sure if they would allow us to swap out a case of beer for a bottle in our minimum. Hadn't asked my host yet but didn't want to bother him if it was a stupid question.

Yes you can. Just ask the waitress to bring out XX amount at a time. They will bring them out and put them in ice buckets.


Last time two people in our group wanted to drink beer, so they brought out 2 buckets with 6 in each and refilled once they went low.


Its good to order more at one time, so your not waiting on the waitress for one at a time.

So I was wondering if I could just swap out a case of beer for a bottle. I assume a case of beer is probably less than the lowest bottle so I'm guessing it would end up as the comped item if they allow it.

You can always order beer in addition, whether they'll substitute an entire bottle you'll have to check with the host and/or waitress. Although, I don't see why you couldn't if you ordered the equivalent of $400 worth of beer (or whatever the cost of the bottle is).

I agree on the urination thing but as a CFO of a brewery, beer is about all I am used to drinking.

If you could get stouts, IPA, etc. it would be a little different since they're double the alcohol content of Bud Light or whatever. Kind of surprised the clubs don't cater a bit more to the craft beer market. There are a LOT of dudes (and ladies) out there that really like a quality beer. I'm willing to bet they'd have no problem selling a $300 bottle of Belgiums finest. There are plenty to choose from out there.

That's true. Pretty much all of our beers are between 5.5% and 9.5% ABV. It doesn't take alot of beers like that to get you feeling pretty good but also cuts down on the bathroom breaks.

I'm glad you mentioned the craft beer thing. I was going to ask what the beer selection was like in most clubs. I assumed it was pretty bare bones (i.e. bud, coors, miller, corona and maybe Sam Adams and/or guinness). Most of my friends are fine drinking bud light but I pretty much drink only craft beer.

You are correct sir, I will be visiting Public House at the Venetian when im down.....and i love ladies who love a good beer.....except they better not overindulge
