whose ever been caught in it, if you can't get a table and you just want to dance, who has ever been in marquee and is in the limbo between the dance floor and the main entrance to outside (dayclub) and security is blocking going down to the dance floor and other security tells you when you stop to keep moving, and you wind up going around in a circle.!!! post your stories and comments

LOL, this is great. I knew exactly what you were talking about when I read it. Last time I was in the circle was for Avicii in early January for Marquee's Anniversary. I legit felt like I was PacMan avoiding the bouncers (ghosts) and dead ends (back bar area or exits out of the main room). I was just patient and after a couple rounds, I found a ramp whose bouncer left and I made it down to the dance floor and all was well again!

^ couldnt of said it better, it was way more crowded then Tao and just kinda ruins the whole vibe of the place. Still an awesome club nonetheless

I know EXACTLY what you are talking about. I didn't even have a good time when I went to check the place out. It was like you were stuck in a holding pattern. Finally I was able to get one of the gorilla like security goons to give me directions on how to get the hell out of there. Then I wandered around lost in what I think may have been a convention center of some sort trying to find my way back outside for like 2 hours.

I imagine one of the first things you do when you design a club is ask "how many people can this hold?"

and then they make the dance floor the size of vanity's.

To sum it up..... If you like EDM you will find a way to like this place. They recruit alot of big name talent.


If you like Top 40/Hip Hop there are way better choices.


I personally dont like EDM, but last time I was in town I was gonna give this place a shot, but they wanted a 3K min for the Boom Box room for 4 people. Thanks but no thanks.

Half the time I've been there the dance floor has been closed. My best times at marquee have actually been in the library of all places.

theres also the ear-full you gotta deal with after your girl walks the 100 flights of industrial steel stairs to get in

edit: being on the dance floor (after its already packed) once you get past security isnt much better though.. i got stuck infront of the ropes on the tables and behind the crowd.. so im being pushed backwards into the rope then being pushed back by security. not fun being sandwiched like that.

yeah but what if your table is not on the dancefloor? you encounter the same problem.

you could pay 3500 for a cabana out there and still have zero access to the dancefloor of the club. That's poor planning.

I got quoted that for fight night a couple weeks ago. Wasn't too shocked since it was fight night
