  • Ghostbar vs Moon

I have a table res at Ghostbar coming up (a bunch of dudes for a bachelor party). I'm starting to think of switching over to Moon as from what I gather it's bigger and you can still get a lounge setting with a table on the second floor, while having the ability to go down to the dance floor amongst all the craziness.

Anyone have any thoughts and/or comparisons on the two?

    Thanks!

Ghostbar is a good spot to start and Moon is a good spot to finish.

The Ghostbar is a lounge with a very cool vibe but Moon is a true blue club.
    Things escalated quickly...

Ghostbar is essentially a bar/lounge. Moon is a club. Moon is the better option to party.

I say you just hit up Moon from the beginning. It is bigger and getting there early will get you a better spot than showing up later at night. Depending on what you want, you could either get a table outside or inside. By the way, did you use a host from this site to get your table?

It's been a couple of years since my last Vegas trip and I was at ghost bar last time. Had an awesome time with amazing service so I reached out for the same reservationist I used last time but she was no longer with N9NEgroup. So I just made my table res from the service rep that answered my email inquiry.

I'm definitely thinking about swapping my res over to Moon. Is the upstairs lounge area a good spot to set up base? I'd rather be in a more chill spot for sitting around to booze but have the option to move into more partying areas.

Granted we can bounce around from our current table at Ghost to all the other clubs, but maybe it will be more convenience to have Moon as home base.

If I was you I would book with a host that is talked about on this site. When I booked I used JRoc but he no longer works for the Palms. I would suggest using
              Janelle Banaga - 702-622-5635
she has taken care of a lot of members.

Moon is upstairs and Playboy club was downstairs from the last time i was there. There is definitely more action on the top floor. They have multiple tables either inside or out. You cant go wrong with having either inside or out. When I was there I had bottles at Rain and we had the option to check out any other clubs. We didn't but the group of guys did and the security took care of their table. The waitress took their bottle inside while they were gone and brought it back to them when they got back.

              Hope this helps a bit.

Yeah we did Rain once too. Could moon be considered somewhat of a combination of Ghostbar and Rain atmospheres?

Ive never been to Ghostbar but from what ive heard is that Ghostbar is more of a lounge compare to Moon and Rain.

Yeah Ghostbar is definitely Lounge, Rain is club. But both have their appeal. Ghostbar was great for bottle service because we could chill out in our space and it was way more relaxed of a scene than Rain.

My only concern is that our table isn't one the dance floor if we choose Moon so it acts as our refuge away from the craziness when we need a break and to reload on booze.

Haha, I'm totally over analyzing this. I know our group would be happy at Ghost but part of me whats to try something new. This upstairs section of Moon overlooking the dance floor is what intrigues me as to being a good place to set up shop.

playboy club is closed. moon has a second level (if i remember correctly), so you could technically ask for a table up there. IMO, start at ghostbar, and then party/chill at moon.. and if it gets too much, you can always go back to ghostbar (bottle service gets you access to all their clubs.. dunno if that has changed or not)

Yeah I'm thinking I'll keep the table res at Ghostbar since we know what we're in for there and can check out Moon or the other places for a change of scenery since we have the VIP access (hopefully that means we don't have to wait on any lines).

I know Ghostbar is said to not have the same appeal as it use to, but on a Friday night it should still be a good scene.
