  • Leaving it till the last minute!

There's a group of us coming from the UK on thurs May 31. We land around 4pm, and will be heading out in a limo in the early evening to visit some bars/lounges.

We have decided against booking a club, as I can't predict how many people will be in a fit state to make it after being on the move for 24 hours.

My question is, how late can we leave it before contacting a host on the night. Say, for example, 6 of us decide we want to goto a club at 11.30, is it still worth texting a host, or should we just turn up and risk general admission.

    Thanks in advance

Make contact a day or 2 before. Make contact again when you land. If you are not able to make it, just send a text and tell him that you had a change in plans. People cancel/no show all the time. Too drunk. Winning at the tables. Already met a girl at the pool and no reason to go out.
Just be don't be a jerk about it.

There are some nights at certain clubs where tables might be sold out (weekend or especially if they have a big DJ that night) but tim is right when he he says people cancel lat minute all the time. I have been able to walk up and buy a table on the spot more than once and sometimes been offered bottles in line by hosts or doormen. Take a couple of host numbers for various clubs and put them in your phone, even in a jam at 12am if you text them they my be able to get you a table/gl/line skip as long as you take care of them of course

If you have every intention of visiting the club, always text/email beforehand so you can at least be added to the guestlist or whatever and we're aware you may be showing up.

If you wait till you're walking up then A)We didn't have sufficient time to add you to a list, B)The list may have closed anyways, but you were unaware because we didn't have a chance to tell you, C) At least we can let you know if the doors gonna be extra rough that night or not.

Say your party does get too messed up or tired and you can't make it, at least you gave us a heads up that might happen and it's not as big of a deal as you walking up last minute while the doors slammed and us being unable to help you.

I've never run into issues texting same day, but early afternoon. Earlier will obviously work in your favor. Club and night may change this
