You should consider signing up for it. I have Plum Cards for one of my businesses that we run about $800K yearly expenses on it and I get a 1.5% cash rebate each month.

I prefer the cash rebate then messing around with the points. I wish AMEX would offer the 1.5% on my Black Card to.

Its not that hard to get, just meet spending numbers and call and ask for it. If your targeted for it they reach out. I am not paying a 5k initiation fee and 2.5-5k a year for a piece of plastic or in the case of this card titanium. If your prepared to spend you dont need there concierge services at all and VIP services from the casino, you casino host, assistant or you can easily arrange whatever you need.

If your spending 10K plus at a club your going to know how to navigate spend and the system and you are attracting high level attention at that level. If you think a piece of plastic is going to get you a one bottle minimum on saturday that's not happening and the people who get no minimums or super low minimums are "friends" of the venue/ownership for one reason or another or people who dont need to discuss because they are known to spend.

This is a really good point. Most people that would qualify for a black card have a PA that usually comes with them when they travel anyway.

I used to use the Plum card for my business a few years back. I know alot of people swear by AMEX for business use, but the industry I'm in, alot of the companies we deal with stopped taking AMEX. I actually stopped taking it at one point also. Personally as a merchant, I think dealing with AMEX is a bitch. As a card user, its great and the perks of the Plum cash back as nice.

Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

The card is worth it in a lot of ways. I doubt there are too many people paying the fees from their personal accounts other than arguably idiots (movie stars etc. included).

In reality, it isn't worth the extra fees, that being said, they are not that big either. I can tell you, if you have the card, you arent blinking at the fees. Its alot to pay for some small conveniences, but in business these can be very valuable conveniences.

This is an expense account card that has some perks and benefits. The concierge can definately do some handy things for you. I have used it successfully to get client meetings in sold out restaurants, to get superbowl tickets (early).

Combined with whatever Air status you use, you can be pretty sure you can get on any flight in any seat you want at any time...

The value is just being able to call 1 number on speed dial and not having to explain anything. Not have to come up with a story. Not have to explain the situation. Not having to text here or call there. Nothing. Just say "I want this..." and its *usually* done.

Thats all you are paying for and it comes in handy here and there.

Easy enough to do it all yourself sure... but its the even 5 - 10 minutes of research you can avoid doing online to figure out where you should go, what you should do, what the number is, etc.

All that being said, I wouldnt use it in vegas, the research and setting it all up is half the fun...

Its different on a 12 leg business trip.

A little off topic but wanted to tell a quick story as to why i got the card in the first place.

So me and my 2 brothers are in Paris last summer and we are trying to get into some high end nightclub that i dont remember the name of. The door guy is being a douche and will not let me and my friends in. We explain that we will get table service and buy bottles but the guy doesnt care.

So my brother, whom has a Centurion card gets on the phone to Amex and starts calling them. Then he stops. Hangs up the phone and gets the door guys attention and just points at the card. The door guys lets everybody in.

When we ask him later, why he wouldnt let us in, he said " You were finally speaking my language "

I ordered one the next week.
