Marquee vs XS (Table Locations)

Ok, wanted to get the group's opinion on this. Let's say a group of 4 guys can't spend the money to be in the main room at either Marquee or XS. What would be the next best table location at either club where you still feel like you're part of the party, you're comfortable and most likely to still party like a rock star? With Marquee, I'm hearing that although the Boom Box room plays good music, its very small and sometimes packed with dudes. I hear the Patio at Marquee is cool, but its more of a chill vibe. Haven't heard too much about how it is outside at XS.
