  • Club/Entrance Recommendation

    Hey guys,
Im a noob to all the vegas clubs. My girlfriend and I are coming in from portland, oregon. I used to club a lot but not much anymore. We do want to hit up a club or two when we're there. We want something that is fun with good music but not too crowded or rowdy, dont feel like getting into it with anybody.

Ive read a lot of different threads that talking about getting in and Ive noticed there seem to be four main ways. GA, Guest List, Prepaid, and Table. Whats the best bang for buck with out having to wait long?

I was thinking about emailing or calling a host ahead of time and getting on guest list or buying prepaid tickets.

When I read about tipping it seemed to only cover table service and it was recommended $100-$1000. How much would you suggest tipping host just for entrance?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot guys.

I really dont think you need to wotty about getting into it with anynody. Sound like XS might be a good spot for you. Make sure and text the host, dont email. If its you and your lady I think $50-75 should work for a handshake entry so you dont have to wait. Pretty sure a trip report went up a couple days ago and they said how much they tipped for entry to XS.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

I'm believing in recommending Pre-sale more often these days to people who arent familiar with how it goes at a Vegas club. I mean alot of us know the ins and outs because we've done it many times. But imagine being the first time. It can work for some, but its pretty intimidating to have to deal with all that stuff.

Personally I would just do a pre-sale if you dont want to spend too much. Depending on the club, lines usually go pretty fast still. If anything its no more than 30-45min if you get there before 11pm.
