Thursday night no bottle service

I am with a group of 5 guys Thursday night and this is the one night we are not doing bottle service. Just wondering what the easiest club would be to get into for us not doing bottle service? Seems like it might be Tao because its so big, any thoughts?

I would suggest Tryst. Your ratio sucks, so either pair up with some girls or work out a grease deal with a host.

The night we did this we had a 50/50 group of 4 and still were subject to the guest list line and doormen....so I think the shitty ratio would still work against you. That was a few years ago though.....

Remember that most clubs (anywhere I've been and this includes Las Vegas) look at groups of guys and the amount of them. If the ratio sucks, the doormen will likely be more strict about policy.

In my experience, Tao has always been like this. I think it set a standard for ratios that I've never seen anywhere else until I saw it even stricter at Marquee.

In the end, if you even think that you may have an issue getting in because you're rolling more than 3 guys and no girls deep, grease. Unless you have a tight hookup (wherever you go really), large groups of guys will have some hoops to jump through to get into the club.

Also remember that this original poster is asking about Thursday, so there won't be as many nightclubs open compared to Fridays and Saturdays; think anywhere from 20-70% of clubs will be open Sunday-Thursday and 100% of the clubs will be open Friday and Saturday.

They DO stamp you hand, however, you still have to go out and then re-enter through the doormen. You don't get to go directly to the club from your table. I even asked Matt Pearson about this when I was planning my last trip and he confirmed that you do not go directly to the club from your table unless a host takes you. (i.e. bottle service or you have a relationship/arrangement with a host)

Stamp = expedited entry...maybe no cover? We got denied entry with the stamp b/c one of our group could barely stand when we got to the rope. Has anyone actually done the stamp and entered?

Definitely. I remember this when I was with him for the Vegas 1/2. It was a sh*t-show in Tao.
