London to LAVegas - The Plan

Organising another bachelor party this year for 8 guys coming from London. The plan is:
Sat 2nd June - Wed 6th June - LA
Wed 6th June - Sun 10th June - LV

The Vegas element is obviously the reason why I'm here! You guys were a fountain of knowledge last year which I can only thank you for. Have continued to read the boards and keep my Vegas knowledge as upto date as possible. Noted that it's EDC weekend when we're in town but we're going to stick to the main strip.

Encore is booked for the accommodation, not just need to sort out the main events! Tentative plan after driving from LA to LV on Wednesday daytime is:

Wednesday PM - Surrender
Thursday Daytime- ?
Thursday Evening - Tryst (Goose + Moet deal)
Friday Daytime - Tao Beach
Friday Evening - Marquee
Saturday Daytime - Encore Beach
Saturday Evening - XS
Saturday Evening/Sunday Morning - The Rhino
Sunday afternoon - drag our collapsed broke arses out of LV and back to London!

Granted last year when I got back to London I couldn't speak for 2 days because my throat was so fcked...the above seems like an optimistic plan!

I'm working on a budget of ~$2k each so $16k altogether on the basis of the following minimum spends including waitress tip and taxes:

Surrender/Tyrst/EBC - 2k
Marquee / XS - 3k
Tao Beach - 1.5k
The excess would then be to take care of hosts/security/bus boys etc.

So couple of questions:
1. Should I swap Tao Beach to Thursday and take a break on Friday before going iiiiiin for the weekend.
2. Does the budget seem reasonable for some good table locations?
3. What would you change?
4. Any of you from LA? If you've got any club recommendations/contacts I'd be more than happy to hear them.

Switching Tao Beach to Thursday could save you almost a grand if the mins don't change that weekend.

Since you are going over EDC weekend it changes things a bit. The day clubs are going to have more action since EDC doesn't kick off until around 8pm.

Yeah expecting minimums to go up slightly for pools but hoping the nights might offer something more given so many people will be at EDC. Is Tao Beach actually lively on a Thurs? We went last year on a Friday and it was pretty busy.

1.Take a break? You didn't come to Vegas to take a break...lol.

4.I promoted in LA for over 3 years (Hollywood specifically). Just let me know what you need, and I'll let you know who to talk to and give you a contact. (Supperclub/Roxbury/Playhouse are all musts...Beacher's Madhouse is cool to visit once and there's some small unknown spots as well.)

I've booked tables for the same time and expect to pay a fair bit if you want good ones around this weekend, the lineup's everywhere are crazy beacuse of EDC! So far on the Saturday you can chose from Erick Morillo, Kaskade, Steve Angello, Afrojack/R3hab or Calvin Harris! There are similar dilemmas for all the nights and daytime events over the weekend!

Jimbo...what sorts of mins for your group size have you been set up with. I was looking for details of dj's at clubs over the weekend but couldn't find any. Guess you'd crrtainly expect them to utilise the edc dj's when they're not spinning at

Does my budget look anywhere near reasonable for weekend days/nights. Hoping that of we book all bar marquee and tap beach with the same host we should get taken care of for keeping things in the same family.

Wednesday - Surrender is Alesso
Thursday - Tryst is Thomas Gold
Friday - Marquee - PM me if you want to know who this is, I've been told but it's not been oficially confirmed. It is someone big!
Saturday - EBC is Steve Angello
Saturday - XS is Steve Angello

If you want to know details of any other nights and who is playing just let me know. There is someone good pretty much everywhere.

There is just three of us in my group but we want to get fairly good tables so I'm doing the following minimums (excluding tax, tip etc):

Surrender, Wednesday - Three bottles
TAO, Thursday - 2.5K
XS, Friday, 2.5K
EBC, Saturday, 2K daybed
XS, Saturday, 2.5k
Table at EDC, Sunday, 3K
Marquee, Monday, 1.5k

I am fully expecting to be hospitalised carrying out the above.

Thursday - Tryst 2 bottles (+ free Moet) and decent handshake - just outside the main room in one of the booths on the left
Friday:

Saturday
a. EBC/Marquee Day Club - may try and do GA into
b. Pure - 3 bottle min on the dancefloor or Hyde for 2k just because I feel I need to work with the legend Anthony Connelly!

Saturday is still the day most up in the air. Kind of because it's our last day and I'm not confident everyone will make the pool party. Would rather hit the night time if anything. By staying at the encore will the room pass allow GA into EBC? Failing that we'll just do GA into Tao Beach and sip on some beers.

Decided to ditch XS, we went last time and want to try something new so Pure/Hyde are the options.

Looks good to me dude...that Saturday is a tough decision though. I'd lean towards Hyde but hard to pass up a 3 bottle dance floor table at Pure on a Saturday. Glad I don't have to make the decision...

I can highly recommend both Anthony and Hyde on a saturday night. We was there start of this month and we hit Hyde on Saturday 5th May. It was everyones favourite place. Smaller venue but that helps create the atmosphere...oh and the quality of women was unreal and they seemed to be everywhere you looked in Hyde. Cracking place!
