Has anyone used this website? It seems like a really good deal if you are a guy and planning on doing GA at one of the clubs listed (XS, Tao, Tryst, Haze,etc.). $15 for cover + quicker entrance. They even say they'll ship the the passes for free.

Is this too good to be true?

We get stacks upon stacks of these passes all the time to give to people if we want. Costs us and anyone promoting it absolutely nothing. They're basically just shipping you passes they're being paid to hand out. If anyone's charging you for these passes, you're getting ripped off.

and do these "passes" really guarantee anything including the price of admission? My money is on NO, even if it comes from a promoter standing outside the club.

I have used these TYPE passes before (mainly years ago in my noob days). Thing is, I have never paid for them. In the past, I have always asked the concierge at my hotel if they had any passes for good clubs. Sometimes I would go into any hotel and ask (as if I was staying there). If they have them, they will give. Then I throw a tip. The passes have worked for me and do whatever the pass says, but rarely do you get instant entry.

If you are staying at a nicer hotel, call from your room to the concierge and ask if they can put you and your group on a guest list for free entry into a decent nightclub. This worked for me when I stayed at Venetian and my group of 5 guys skipped the line and got in free at Vanity (great night).

But since you have now found this website, take advantage and just use the contacts here. They can do all that, and you dont have to carry around a card, or feel like you are being a cheap ass with a coupon. Plus it just feels better if you are on a "list" instead of handing over a card/coupon.

For most top spots, the passes guarantee free entry for ladies and discounted entry for guys before a certain time. (usually midnight)

When you're walking around the strip/casino/valets/pools/restaurants/hallways/lobby/outside the lounges or bars and you see the same passes constantly being passed out, it kind of registers that these things might not be in that high of demand.

Heck, try it. You will definitely waste $15 or more on something else in Vegas (like blackjack. I don't think I won 1 hand a few weeks ago). The worst that can happen is that the need to pay cover or grease somebody to get in. Just show up early.
