I wanna say yes a small bag like the drawstring ones are fine. Obviously they'll search it, but they generally won't require you to purchase a locker unless you bring something the size of a small backpack or bigger. Anything with handles/straps is probably too big.

This is the case for Marquee as well.

To be safe though, I only recommend bringing what'll fit in your pocket since you wont need tanning oil/sunscreen or anything like that for Nightswims.
