Tao Thursdays

Flying into Vegas on Thursday May 17th... Looking for the best Thursday night party, so we're thinking of Tao. Thursday will be one of the nights where we don't do Bottle Service (unless we get a good deal somewhere). What would be the easiest way to get into Tao on Thursday without standing in line for an hour? Our group is 4 guys and 1 girl.

Either tip the host/doorman to get in, or go eat at Tao restaurant beforehand and get stamped. They may also sell pre-sale tickets, but I'm not sure about that.

Is Tao the best look for Thursdays? What about Haze or Tryst on Thursdays? Don't really care about the music, just wanna be at the place with the hottest crowd...

Tryst is good. Never been to Haze. Tao used to be my favorite, but Ive been so much, its gotten kind of old for me.

Did Tao on a Thursday and it was a crazy good time. The restaurant is really good too. Dinner then club at Tao is a damn good Thursday.

You can't go wrong with Tao, you'll know it when you walk up...you'll see the lines of women. They're there by 10:30. You got multiple ways to get into Tao...handshake, passes from the Concierge (Venetian or Palazzo), guestlists (really for girls), or General Admission (long wait)...you choose...the dinner option means you'll be there early and no drama.

Thanks for the responses... I think I would just want to do the handshake to get in. So we'll have 4 guys and 1 hot girl. What would be the appropriate handshake amount to get in? $200, $300, $400? I don't want to be totally off base with the amount...

If you're there at 10:30pm I'd do $220 for the group. I think cover for guys is usually $30/person, so after cover that's a $100 handshake.

Yep - do Tao. There will be about 500 forum members there that night . Just look for the drunken rabble

If they don't have a headliner it's a mix of top 40/edm in the main room and hip hop in the Opium Room. The night I was there it was top40 until about 12:30 then Dirty South took over and it was edm the rest of the night.

We got 4 guys and were thinking late dinner on a Thurs night @ Tao. If we go for dinner at 10:30 and get stamped do we get right in after or will it take awhile?

you're already inside....so its pay your bill, get stamped, walk upstairs. Normal entry is stand in line, get in next line, pay cover, walk thru emptying restaurant, head upstairs to party.

Have you done the stamp? When I asked Matt about it he said generally you need to go out and enter the club, not go directly up from the restaurant. As with all things, I'm sure a little "grease" will take care of this.
