may 17-20 traveling alone

Heading to Vegas May 17- 20 for a first-time trip and unfortunately my friend had to back out so I'm traveling alone. Room has already been booked at The Palms for the 3 nights. wondering if anyone had any advice for me.

Jesus! you're going alone? I'm going that weekend with a friend and I went last may with 4 friends but just going with 1 other person is much better. My advice is to hit up the pool parties during the day and clubs at night obviously. Try and meet as many girls and guys as possible and maybe they will let you join their Cabana/table if you chip in. It's definitely a lot harder to meet people if you're alone and have no wing man but when we went last year everyone was really nice and really drunk!!! Drunk people are really easy to get to know so I'm sure you will have a good time if you have good social skills and aren't afraid to approach groups of women. Bring a beach ball or a water football to the pool. Great way to get engaged with other people. Stand out :P

If you're looking for advice on activities, then check out the mAyOD Invasion forum on these boards since your dates line up with most of the weekend we're all going to be there. You'll have 500 friends, it'll all work out. Problem solved.

Go back to the main index for the forums (no the Vegas specific index, but the index that lists Vegas, Miami, etc.). On that index scroll down to the forum that has May AOD in its title. The posters on this message board are getting together the weekend you are in Vegas for a 5 day party. Pool party in the day, night club at night. You can slide right into the party.

First, lets just say you are never alone when in Vegas, as long as you're not some socially ackward dude.

Second, there will be a shit ton of us there the 16th - 22nd and we love to party. Seek us out by finding the random groups yelling AOD. (Just so you know a shit ton is somewhere around 500-600)

Third, as Skiz said check out the May Invasion forum and see whats goin on with a wristband. Someone should have one you can buy from them and that will let you in with us. Start reading so you can figure it all out by the time you leave. (Just dont try to battle Skiz in a dance off)

Some of my best Vegas trips ever (aside from mAyOD) were alone because you can do what you want without anyone to deal with. Have fun man.
