How tough is it to remain functional in a transition from a day time pool party in the scorching Vegas heat into an all out bender at niat one of the city's fine establishments.

In my mind, its as simple as hydrating and snoozing in between or are there any other tips the seasoned Vegas vets can bring to the table?
      It's very doable

I always go balls to the wall in Vegas and I've only gotten sick once (my first time, lesson learned quickly - do not drink beer, red wine, white wine and then lots of hard liquor)

      This the typical weekend

Arrive Friday afternoon or evening - drink mixed drinks (usually no beer) while gambling and/or watching sports

Pregame in the room with hard liquor shots and chasing with mixed drinks

      At the club:
-if we have a table I make sure not to kill the bottles too quickly and drink a lot of water
-if we don't have a table I get 1 or 2 mixed drinks and maybe a shot depending on how I feel and then I switch over to beer and drink a lot of water

      After the club:
-usually go gamble (unless someone is trying to take me home) continue to drink beer and lots of water
-around 6AM I make the decision whether or not to go to sleep - if I go to sleep I'll pound a gatorade (others do pedialyte) and crash

If I don't go to sleep I'll get some coffee while gambling (continuing to drink water) and have an early breakfast

      Saturday
-If I slept then I get up and usually kill the last beer from the night before (it's warm but helps me get up) and go get coffee and eat
-head to pool late morning and get mixed drinks like frozen red bull, sangria, mojito while mixing in a lot of water

after the pool I will sleep if I'm exhausted (just gotta remember to actually set the alarm) and then eat

If I don't go to sleep then I drink beer and water and watch sports and eat

      Then repeat Friday night

If I'm leaving Sunday I'll usually stay up to maximize the trip
If I'm leaving Monday I'll go to sleep, wake up with Advil and recover a bit Sunday morning before resuming drinking at the pool
      2016 (past) - none
      2016 (upcoming) - June 10th - 13th. Venetian. Invasion schedule

I eat one meal, at 4am after the club. I try not to drink at the pool until about 11 or 12.

        I sleep between 5-7pm and 5-9am

There are a lot of different views on how to do it but of course the most scientifically proven is to take cocaine.

I don't sleep in between the pool and the club either, especially after the first day, because once I fall asleep there is at least a 25% chance I won't wake up until morning.

The big key for me lately has to been to stop drinking from the time I leave the pool until the time I am completely dressed and ready to go. From like 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm I just drink gatorade/water/big Monster energy drink. After I shower and get dressed, I am ready for the night, and ready to start drinking again. Taking 2 hours off seems to help me maintain the rest of the night, without destroyting my buzz.

Also, whoever mentioned avoiding long dinners is right on. A two-hour dinner will kill you if you aren't eating at an upbeat joint (i.e. N9NE, Stack, STK).

I am a fan of the power nap, just make sure you set an alarm so you don't sleep the night away!

Bumping this as I managed to pull it off a few days in a row.

One important factor, especially in the Summer - hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.

I can't go hard all night without the nap or at least some lounging in bed in the room. The key is setting a bazillion alarms so there's no chance for oversleeping. If I'm feeling extra energetic, I'll hang out in my hotel casino and gamble a bit.

dude my schedule is similar but I somehow add cardio before 10 am and heavy lifting after 6 pm when I return from a pool party...weird but true...it keeps me awake and going...when I do sleep I hit the pillows hard.

only problem is those alarms go unanswered cause Vegas sleeps are deep sleeps...maybe this year I'll add in an automated front desk wake up call.

I agree with other posters and feel that a midday nap is the kiss of death. I tend not to drink AS much during the day anyway since I like to be fresh for nightlife. Plus my crew usually has a little pharmaceutical assistance.

@kman90 What is the workout regimen like for the cardio and heavy lifting? I wanna be able to get my fitness on in between the pool parties and the clubs.
